Yeah he's nowhere near the level of BA yet somehow could not only keep up but match up. Writers overpowered him, lore wise he's barely a 2 second chump

Hawkman, Dr. Fate, Cyclone, and Atom Smasher all showed off their power and character well in this movie. The JSA may have been the secondary heroes of the movie; however, they had a great intro for Black Adam. I hope they return.

JSA makes me feel this movie as epic as Avengers's firt movie. And Doctor Fate is my favourite here. What a pity he dies to tell us the truth about heroes at the end...... Hoep the 2nd Fate will fight alongside Black Adam somehow.

This movie is the textbook definition of a lean superhero movie, no moment is wasted and each scene adds to its flow.

Truly the only the issue in how they were portrayed comes from making a full on villain in the comics and 100% hero. Meaning his rivals even though they’re supposed to be the heroes are often in the wrong. So many times in the movie the JSA are considered the invaders or Hawkman’s leadership is undermined by them going with Black Adam’s plan

@@VsevolodMitkov21 Not very likely. This movie bombed, and it was headlined by The Rock. Yeah, Pierce Brosnan is popular, but not as universally popular as The Rock. Black Adam and Doctor Fate are just too obscure for commercial success.

I also dislike how easy it was for Waller to convince the JSA to work for her. There should’ve been at least mild antagonism between Carter & Waller due to her shady reputation.

One thing I liked is how they handled the diversity. Half the team is made up of black people, but nothing is made of it. They just happen to be black. I really liked that. Marvel could learn a thing or two in letting the actors make the characters their own, rather than making the characters race matter

Hawkman's jet coming up from underground in the back of the estate looks like it was taken straight from one of the Bryan Singer X-Men movies. I think they should have set this prior to Man of Steel. Where were the JSA during the events of Zod's invasion, Doomsday, Darseid's invasion? The movie explains that the JSA has operated for a while. Why didn't Wonder Woman & Batman seek out the help of Hawkman and the JSA? If Waller knows of Hawkman, I would think Batman could seek him out as well.
