This place quickly became one of my favourite locations in all of Star Wars. A moon in the Mustafar system that turns Jedi into Jedi hunting agents of evil in an underwater Imperial base....that's so sick. It's basically the gestapo headquarters in the backyard of Vaders house.

I really like the fact the Empire would try to turn captured Jedi to the Dark side and use them as Inquisitors.

Here’s something I realized that’s kinda funny: the Inquisitors has a fortress, and Darth Vader had a castle. That kinda reminds me of some Mario games where you would find a fortress where you fought a mini-boss, and then a castle where you fight an actual boss.

Trilla was broken and became Second Sister before Palpatine had the Inquisitors moved off coruscant. So I guess the old HQ in the works had a similar torture chamber in it somewhere.

But Cere was captured with Second Sister and they both were transferred to Nur, if you believe Cere

Or, there was already an imperial facility with a torture chamber on Nur, but after Vaders hunter for the two treacherous inquisitors, it was slightly remodeld to serve as a new HQ.

@Star Wars Explained In the 20th issue of Darth Vader comic series (2017) Palpatine tells Vader he is going to transfer the Inquisitors in another structure (doesn't say the name or where it is) which we now know is the fortress inquisitorious on the planet Nur. Then Vader tells Palpatine he wants to create his own fortress on Mustafar. The second sister appeared for the first time in the previous issue (19th) which means that the fortress on Nur was already operational before Vader built his on Mustafar. So...knowing this I would have expected Palpatine to answer Vader "you wanna build a fortress on Mustafar? What a coincidence, the fortress of the inquisitors is in the same system!"

Well, he moved the inquisitors to Nur after Vaders run for the two traitors; what I believe is that there was already an imperial facility on Nur, which was slightly remodeled to serve as the new HQ

After Fallen Order I really want to know more about Inquisitors. What do the counting in theirs names mean? What happened with them and purge troopers after Rebels ivents? Who were the 1st and 3rd inquisitors, especially the 1st? Did Barriss Offee joined them? Will "the Jedi Hunters" from Legends like Jerec, Starkiller and Mara Jade be canonized by that way? So many questions...

The Purge troopers are implied (and showed in the Vader comic series) to be former Clone troopers who had been exclusively trained (and probably tortured to insanity). They probably aged out by the time of Rebels.

I didn’t know until browsing the Wiki today that it was in the Mustafar System. That explains why it looks a bit like Vader’s Castle. It also makes sense to have it near Mustafar, so that all the nearby Dark Side energy can be used to help make inquisitors, or something like that

I honestly wished that the Knights or Ren were partly former Inquisitors. I also hope some of the Knights survived their encounter with Ben, maybe one of them requires heavy life support and they get a cool new appearance or another one walks around completely vulnerable.

Gotham Savior maybe have an inquisitor be hired just before revenge of the Sith at age 20, then 55 years later at 75 years old there is a knight of ren, and make it a slow aging species.

Sharil Shahed most of the augmented inquisitors would still age and I know that they aren’t all human and a lot of species age differently but I’m saying that the majority of them age the same as humans.

Ben Kenobi so one former inquisitor is what you’re saying. Also in the comics we know that the KOR see the force differently so a Sith inquisitor wouldn’t be one of them.

So what is the point of having an underwater base thats suppose to be hidden, to be kept secret.... by having a huge monolithic tower that is pointing you to its exact location. It broke my brain.

Q/A - In the Darth Vader Comics, Palpatine said he moves the Inquisitors off-world and we can see briefly the Second Sister. But the game tells Trilla became the Second Sister in Fortress Inquisitorius. Don't you think it's a slight contradiction?

Maybe it was their base initially , then they moved to coruscant briefly and when that didn't work out palps just sent them back to nur

i am actually glad we finally got some answers to the inquisitors because my god the inquisitors in rebels were so boring the only inquisitors i gave a damn about was 9th sister and grand inquisitor and that's about it.

This must mean that quite a few Jedi survived Order 66...otherwise you dont need the inquisitors or such an elaborate prison

Well, not all Jedi were at the temple. The Clone Wars was technically still ongoing, which means several Jedi must've still been deployed, and clones, while merciless due the inhibitor chips, aren't exactly the best at killing Jedi. I think it's safe to assume that at least a fraction of the Jedi Order survived the initial onslaught, the majority likely being padawans.

The Inquisitors are such a cop out that cheapens the Sith all for the sake of having these mini bosses for the tv and video game properties. Two there should be. No more, no less. One to embody power, the other to crave it.

I completely agree, but Sith-trained "assassins" like Maul and Ventress weren't technically Sith, and neither were Inquisitors, so they conveniently got left out of that rule. I hate it, but I didn't develop the lore, so it is what it is *shrug* Still feel like it's a convenient go-around though....

Cory Sobczak Maul was a Sith Lord in Canon. Palpatine had taken him as his apprentice under the rule of two. He was trained since he was a boy.
