Thank you so much! This was my favorite song in 8th grade. I was the kid who preferred to learn about the Supreme Court and the French Revolution in the library during lunch instead of interacting with my peers haha. This was my jam in 2012 when everyone else played Gangnam Style

The interest for the french revolution is normal for me, as I am French... but as you show the star-spangles banner, I deduce you're American... what is the interest for you ? I have been in USA in october 2003, and France was the betrayer full of cowards and other CESM in all your medias, and I received an awful welcome from most of the average Americans (excepted the american soldiers of the abse where I was, for having served with them... they knew too well the skill of their french brothers in arms)...

@JP C france is viewed pretty highly here. Im not sure what you mean. There was a time where french being cowards was kind of a running joke but it was never taken serious as far as I know... the french aided in the american revolution. I have a question though. How the hell did the french revolution turn into such a confusing and messy affair lol. It is notorious for being one of the least straightforward events in recent history

I was in USA, visiting friends of the US army in Fort Carson (Colorado) in october 2003... in a week, I was blamed by many american citizens for being a chicken chicken, a CESM etc... fortunately, helped and defended by US soldiers, friends I have worked and fought alongside... One has even said to his fellow compatriots : who is the coward ? the alone french in the bar, or all the stupid ignorants you are ? US media and the Republicans were harsh on French not for joking, but for true. You may have forgotten. I didn't. it needed years for France to recover this unfair and vicious attack by USA on her Honour, and still not totally recovered. There's only 2 otions, you are blind or you are dishonest.

@JP C southern republicans a few decades ago maybe. They are known for hatred and they would have been brought up by ww2 vets with ww2 still fresh in their memory. But not now. Most people don't even know about the cowardice of the French. I mean sure France is made fun of plenty by those with history knowledge or grandparents who fought in ww2, for having the nazis roll through them, surrendering easily and joining Hitler, not before offering little resistance and allowing the British to defend them despite having taken American equipment. Not to mention awaiting the Americans to come save them. But in general the modern French are not disliked. They fought like any other coalition member. The British certainly consider French to be cowards based on their actions during ww2 but the modern American does not.

Years ago I used to teach teachers how to use their brand new SMART Boards and enjoyed dazzling them with videos from your site. This video was always my favorite. When I showed my daughter it home she replied frustratingly "Why can't my teacher do things like this?" I relayed that to my class :)
