Good thing you always mentioned the full name of thr Eurocopter Hermes EC 135. Otherwise I would have forgotten that you meant to refer to the Eurocopter Hermes EC 135. The Eurocopter Hermes EC 135 is a good aircraft, I have many times flown on the Eurocopter Hermes EC 135.

such aircraft are possible in this day and age. a few already in production, but their is just one remaining factor that isnt entirely known with this form of commute and thats how these aircraft will cope with low altitude flight. Anyone familiar with flying in small private or personal aircraft understand that low level flight comes with its own challenges, mainly from weather and the atmosphere. the closer you are to the ground the more an aircraft is susceptible to thermals, wind, and turbulence, not to mention heavy storms, ice , rain and supercells. occasionally bad weather and conditions are extreme enough to bring down small aircraft, or in the least create a hair raising white knuckle ride. we are already seeing how global warming is changing conditions for high level commercial flight. It then begs the question how will these new evtols handle such extreme conditions and if necessary will their be places they can put down, taking advantage of their flight and landing capabilities. more over how will passengers take to riding in what may be very bumpy turbulent conditions.

Yeah, nothing reported on that. But, I agree this could be an issue and will need a good filtration system for that

It is real. Search for Bellwether videos here on KZfaq. It's still in the prototype flight phase, with a 1:2 scale prototype already making short flights. But some of the performance details stated on the video are way too optimistic, like saying it can fly for 90 minutes. No way a wingless multicopter could flight so long (most multicopters, like Chinese EHang 216 and German Volocopter, can fly for just twenty minutes before recharging batteries). And, although Bellwether Orix design is cool as hell, those beautiful futuristic shapes are basically useless, with no aerodynamic function and only adding unnecessary weight to the aircraft. Unfortunatelly, evtol aircraft technology isn't still mature enough to allow aestethic-driven designs. Most aircraft need to save every pound of weight they can, and squeeze every watt from the batteries.
