That ending scene really hit me. I can't wait to find out exactly what Scratch's backstory is. I just know that a big storm of emotion is about to come rolling in.

Creators said there's some episodes that would make us hard-cry this season and I'm excited!

"Let's make a promise every time we drink this soda, we'll think of each other" - Scratch's Past Friend.

I love these episodes and molly's mother sure found her art because of scratch's end and seeing scratch knowing about his past about a young black girl when he drinks that soda really wants me to know about scratch and before he became a ghost!

I had a painting professor who told us for some painters the hardest part of painting is just starting. The canvas is new till the first brushstoke and worse if it's a costly canvas you fear ruining. He said to combat that feeling just take some random paint and randomly make a line or two. Once paint is on the canvas the fear of ruining is gone as not a splat or a chaotic line is on it and from there it's gets easier to paint on the used canvas. When Scratch got paint on the canvas that voice of ruining it was gone as now it had paint on it. From there you can build on it or over paint the lines while working on it.

I remember scratching in the first episode at the end he wants tacos and strawberry soda and watch the soda flavored strawberry and 1960 houses used to look like the house for Molly. McGee is living in that’s really crazy.

I cannot wait to learn more about Scratch's backstory! So far, we know he had a best friend who moved away when they were both kids and they loved that strawberry soda enough to remind them of each other whenever they drank it. Did he ever see her again? Is there a possibility she's still alive? What happened to Scratch that made him a ghost? I can't wait to find out more!!!! And can I just say it's interesting a ghost's memory is wiped when they become a ghost. Some of the other ghosts like one of the ghost council members remembers he wanted to play the lute when he was a kid but his father told him no. So is it by choice or just automatic? What could be the reason Scratch doesn't remember his past life?

I think this is him as a human before he became or just died from natural causes that fact we don't see scratch from his flash only proves this probably his past from when he was a human I also think that this is a young version of h from when he was a kid and this is someone he had feelings for noting friends but actual feelings

I’ve heard theories going about that whoever this is at 9:00 is actually Jinx (the Joy Hunter from Season 1 Finale) and while they do have the same hairstyle I’m kinda 50/50. On the one hand, Jinx would’ve recognize Scratch when she saw him the first time. However, it would make sense she has a beef with him.
