Maria lives high up in the Ukrainian Carpathian Mountains. Today she will show a version of a traditional Ukrainian lunch.

@@siren369xstar8 She still has to care for them whether she consumes them or not!!!. Also, she obviously doesn't eat ALL her animals....Some are used for Cheese, EGGS and Milk To each their own. Respect others preference.

As for caring for her animals, I was referring to the dog and cat. When we go to the supermarket and buy meat, what are we buying? Dead animals!

I'm always in awe of this woman's cooking skills from preparing the basic ingredients from scratch, the cooking process till the plating. She must have been brought up in a gorgeous family that respects household value.

My mom used to cook all of our meals on a wood stove ,and bake bread in the oven of that stove as well,even in the summer.I love watching this lady do her cooking and chores,makes me realize how hard my mom worked with very few modern appliances.We got an indoor bathroom when I was 7,and oh what a treat it was to have a nice hot bath in a big tub.lol..Our home was always spotless,my mother was a fanatic about cleaning.We always slept in pristine crisp sheets,and came home off the bus to something wonderful bubbling away on the stove for supper.These videos remind me how very lucky I was to grow up like this,just in a different spot in the world,rural Canada in the 1960s,and 70s.😊

Hello Maria, and your excellent camera person, welcome to my week! It is such a pleasure to spend time with you via video. Your life is active in caring for your animals, your garden, your home, weaving, hauling water and much more. Today I watched in awe as you prepared another perfect meal and would love to have joined you. Your little smile of joy and accomplishment at the end was a blessing. Our prayers for the people and freedom of Ukraine continue. How did your baked gifts to the soldiers go down? I am sure that was a huge blessing to them. Where is your little dog now? With Spring and warmer weather he/she will soon be able to be outside again. How well did he/she adapt to being inside over the Winter? I pray for continued Blessings to you through our almighty Lord God.

My Dad's family is Swiss German, and that menu of fried pork cutlets, creamy mashed potatoes, and pickled cabbage was served many times as I was growing up.On Mom's side of the family, there is some Ukrainian ancestry, too, so I enjoy watching your videos so much!

I Noticed the great skills and passion this woman has for cooking real authentic good food🥑🥩. I didnt realise that Ukraine had such beautiful nature and food🥦🧄. Im Norwegian guy and a chef for 18 years now and have experienced a lot of different types of food but now i have a break from the working life. Nice video😃.

I’m pretty sure the video is sped up because people praised her for how fast she was working. Now it’s a bit artificial in my opinion and less enjoyable to watch it

Maria, you are my favorite person to watch in the world. I live in Indianapolis, In USA. Your energy amazes me. To have everything you need in your backyard is so wonderful. Pois é… e essa quantidade toda de comida? Quem come? Certamente pra ela sozinha não é mesmo. Só se for pra equipe de filmagem mas ela parece ter tanto costume de cozinhar enormes quantidades que não parece ser pra equipe. Apesar da cama e casa pequena.

I saw the videos with Maria for the first time yesterday. She is a strong and beautiful woman. I admire how well she does everything. Her dishes always look great. 😊 Do you know how Maria is doing at the moment? The videos are all 1 year old. I just wonder who eats all that food if she lives alone. Or does she sell it?
