I am just saying they literally point out every video how Meredith isn’t ready and how she could be a danger to the other teammates because of her inability to do certain things. Like when she failed to do the jump before the spilt at the end of the kick line. That could have injured the girls around her.

I think that sometimes a weak dcc will not make it the next year if she doesn’t improve. there will always be new competition. So if she gets better she might keep her spot next year. Just like when some dccs can’t make it back after there first year.

She, as an ex-point for 2 years (which is very rare, most of the girl of the last 16 years have been point only one year) nominates Caroline to replace her as point. Then a rando choreographer (Evan) pops in and nominates Maddie, Gina, and Amy as point. And somehow Kashara gets ignored and 2 out of 3 of Evan's choices make point.

Not necessarily, in ballet you are trained to do basically the opposite of cheerleading so it can be difficult to adapt after being trained in a technical style of dance like ballet

Well professional ballet dancers usually dont use any props what so ever.They dont add props because it distracts from the actual performance. so no in short she most likely isn't used to working with pom poms

No, ballet is soft, lyrical and telling a story. Its very fluid in lines, but dcc is very powerful. It’s the complete opposite, and it’s like relearning a new dance style entirely. I’m classically trained and i suck at hip hop and cheer. It’s just too different. My body is used to making very soft and precise movements.

And maybe that is the fault of the editing team. Everybody was tuning in every week to see when she got cut-think they were showing Meredith’s obvious mistakes and drawing attention to them.

@@alicenguyen4235 i can respect your opinion... From an Erin S. on another vid worth reposting. The reason Meredith is different is because her dance technique is far better than many of the DCC girls. The only thing holding her back was learning the choreography by the time those episodes were recorded. All dancers eventually memorize the choreography by performance time and then it’s no problem. She is an exceptional dancer that just struggles with learning choreography fast. She can do all the dances exceptionally well. That’s why they kept her because all she needs is more time and they know she will get the dances memorized. Whereas other dances, the problem was their technique. Technique takes years of practice so that’s why those dancers didn’t make it. I would 100% keep a slow learner with exceptional technique over someone who can’t do the skills. Hope this makes sense for all the non-dancers watching the show and not understanding why Meredith was given more time and chances

i think the boots threw off jalyn as well, and she snapped up. you can see her trying to readjust herself. but even so, merideth shouldnt be resting her leg on jalyn's back. her leg should be hovering, but not touching (like how the rockettes look like theyre holding each other, but theyre just "touching fabric"). if merideth hadnt been touching she wouldnt have taken down the line.

No one is talking down on Meredith “the person,” not once. The comments are in response to the videos on the KZfaq channel or the show itself. Before you post stuff like this, I wish you could see her actually perform on game days. The struggle is real. At this point, I think even Meredith would tell you that. I’m not sure if it’s the pressure or if she’s just struggling with the choreography, but something is definitely off. Sugarcoating it won’t change that. And I don’t think it’s scripted for the show. If that were the case, they’d never allow her to be on the field on game day. Judi and Kelly aren’t gonna risk having their reputation destroyed for drama on the show. No one wants Meredith to fail. But if you think they’re gonna pretend not to see she’s struggling when she clearly is, that’s not being realistic nor is it fair to all of the others who are able to pull through and perform well. Why are people so willing to make excuses for this one person? I’m baffled.
