In this one, singing---and wandering---minstrels Scrappy and Oopy cheer up a depressed little girl (who looked like the modified version of Margie who was seen in the previous year's "The Great Experiment") and her farmer father as their singing and playing help end the farm's long drought. With story by Art Davis and animation by Sid Marcus (the two would be considered the cartoon's uncredited co-directors), along with music by Joe De Nat, this cartoon, released theatrically by Columbia Pictures, was produced by Charles Mintz. This is a TV syndication print.
