I am correct to remember that in one of the video that you should leave the polish on the pain after the wool pad and just polish on top with the yellow pad with a a spray of fresh polish on it?

Correct. It saves time and works extremely well doing it that way. I've done it that way on many vehicles. The gold standard system is so easy, effective and efficient. Especially with the lake country pad washer.

I’m definitely sold on the gold standard system. It’s unbelievable how little product you use and the amazing results I get. Just did a big pickup truck with the wool pad and finished with the jeweling pad on a rotary. Very little product and beyond amazing results. Saves so much time by not having to wipe off between cutting and polishing. Keep up the great videos and awesome products!

I'm very tempted to try it out. I hate fiddling with a half full bottle trying to pour dots out. Though the cost is significantly more than meguiars ultimate polish.

Actually it’s a lot less. You need 1/2 gallon of other polishes to do the work of 1 bottle of DIY Detail Gold Standard Polish

I just got the whole system. Can't wait to try it when the weather warms up. I do have two questions. Can I use the polish for glass rayon pads? And do you recommend this system for polishing headlights after wet sanding?

I love the simplicity of the entire DIY system, but specially the fact that Gold Standard Polish doesn t affect trims and rubbers while polishing cause I hate to lose all that time covering with tapes. I don t know if there are other abrasives/compound that let you do this. You never underline this advantage 🤷

How do you know when it is time to wash the pad with the LC pad washer? After every section of car (the size of a MF towel)? If you don't wash the pad after every section, do you add another squirt of polish after every section?

Clean after every section for best results,never put clean polish on a Dirty Pad

@diydetailofficial My gold standard polish will only spray a narrow jet. I have adjusted it the nozzle by turning it both ways, run warm water through it (sprays nicely as a fan/cone) but the polish still only jets. Any ideas? It makes it hard to get it all on the pad and some drips on the floor. (Thanks for answering all our questions. It must be very time consuming. Please know it is much appreciated!!)
