Excellent ending to a show that shouldn't have ended for at least another three years .. loved every actor, they were all so good in their roles .. the writers story lines always drew you in. Whoever made the decision to take this show off the air made a big mistake ..

The Best ending , the very best ending, omg . I'm going to miss watching the show with my elderly mom . She absolutely loved it . We were in tears and smiling . What a fantastic group of actors , they felt like family .

When Shaun's voice had cracked a little when he was telling his father and Lea that he can't save everyone, the tears started rolling down my face uncontrollably. This actually hit him. It was probably was hard for him to keep it together, but I mean he was saying goodbye to his father and not only that the show was coming to an end. I'm just glad the show didn't end without a goodbye.

I think the series finale was done very well and got us up to speed on everyone's lives. Sad but excellently done. Bravo! ❤

I really dreaded saying goodbye because I’m such a sap, and I love you all so much, as I began to cry, when Shaun saved Claire and it said, 10 years later I couldn’t help but be happy when Shaun gave his speech to the students, I know it sounds corny to be so hooked on a series, but Shaun made me smile at the end. Everyone moved on, although I will miss you all, I’m so happy and thankful for all the memories, I never realized you could become so addicted to a program. I will miss you all, thank you for the, wonderful, wonderful entertainment. It ended beautifully. ❤

The series finale was a great one, its hard to beleive 7 yrs later saying goodbye. If most fans are like me then they cried and giggled in the end. I totally can see why it was a hard end for the cast. Thank you for a great show.

I loved the ending. Very well done. I will miss them all immensely. Perfect ending even though we lost Glassy we saw the growth of all and their families and his impact on their lives. Thank you so much for making me love you. I truly will miss the show. Peace be with you.

I loved it. Noone wanted to see it end but I couldn't have thought of a better ending. Freddie Highmor draws me in to most everything he does and he works it!

My prediction was right about Shaun being the chief of surgery in the future and it happened. Shaun has overcome so many challenges, married a beautiful and charming woman, became a father to a beautiful boy names Steve. Not only that Lea and him also have a gorgeous baby girl named Maddie in honor of Dr. Glassman's daughter, Maddie

I have never seen a series end with such diginity and grace before. Thank you !!

I thought Dr. Melendez's and Noah's death was hard to take, but this....Glassy's death is difficult to accept. Thankfully Shaun and his colleagues saved his best friend/sister, Claire. You will be missed Dr. Glassman 😢❤. Thank you for being such an amazing mentor and father to Shaun. Christina Chang was right, it did hit them as they were filming the last episode. 😢 This was a tearful heartfelt episode, but at the end you can see how everything changed and how everyone overcame obstacles and was showered with happiness.

"On the day the copper pipes in the old building smelled like burnt food, my brother taught me just because you love somebody doesn't mean you get to love them forever. But I was okay because I had you, Dr. Glassman. And on the day that... On the day that you go to Heaven, I will have Lea. I will have little Steve. And on the day the carousel smelled like oil, the carousel you used to go to with Maddie, I told you I would go there and think of you after you're gone, and I will. But I want to go before then too. I will go there with you. And I will go bowling. I will go bowling with you. I will make a plan. "

I wasn't sure what I would think of the last episode as with both Claire and Dr. Glassman both being sick, I really thought this could get really over the top "hokey". But my hats are off to the writers, as to me the ending was perfect. I mean, it was sad to learn that Dr. Glassman would not survive, but I honestly would rather that than another last second miracle. It also showcased that Dr. Glassman's work with Dr. Murphy was complete, because Shawn who had accomplished so much in his life, still struggled with his emotions. Probably the most difficult emotion for anyone to deal with is the overwhelming loss of a loved one. But Shawn through a team effort of Lea and "Glassy" became accepting of Dr. Glassman's short time left and that his life would soon be without him. Then of course with Dr. Glassman's time left on the planet being very short term, it was perfect how he stepped in for Dr. Murphy to deliver the non-FDA approved treatment that saved Dr. Brown's life. This was the perfect ending and like everyone, I will miss this show as I had really grown attached to the different characters. So now we all are mourning the loss of a favourite show, in a very similar way Dr. Murphy mourned the loss of Dr. Glassman!!! My last comments are simply that the cast were all super talented, as were the writers and deserve everyone's digital applause for a job and show really well done!!! Cheers to everyone involved!!!

Freddie Highmore is such an excellent actor, but this show had many other good actors. It was an emotional ending but really perfect as we learned where everyone was going. The Ted Talk ten years later with Shaun then leaving with Lea and his two children was so touching. A lot of tears were shed with this closing episode. The Good Doctor was definitely my favourite medical show!

This was honestly one of the best Season finales of most shows I've seen. It sincerely had me sobbing 😭 with both joy & sadness. Overall such an amazing series 👏 😍 ❤🤌🙌💯%

this show always had me in tears and laughter too! (mostly)! show add one of the best series finale ever in recent years! I didn't know it was the finale until a few scenes into that episode and that is how you know it was written in a way that makes sense and true to the overall show's narrative and existing traits of everyone's character Arc. Great job on the Show's Success and to the Show runners and screenwriters for a great series and messages!

Hooray! Hooray! Shaun and Lea finally got their daughter. I wonder what her name is?

Shaun Murphy couldn't accept that Glassy was dying. He has done it before when he told him about his glioma had returned, but was cleared. Then Glassy had mini strokes and the cancer returned back again and it was treated. Then finally, season 7, Dr. Glassman's cancer returned back, but this time it's stage IV and terminal. Between trying to save Claire and his father (Glassy), Shaun was overwhelmed. Luckily, Shaun and colleagues were able to save Claire. I hate that Dr. Glassman had died, but he got to live his final moments with his family. I predicted that this was going to happen and how it would end and I was right 😢❤

They'll NEVER be another show like the Good Dr. The show was not only about a Dr with autism, each actor played their parts brilliantly. I truly loved them all. What a wonderful cast! I have to say that the last show was extremely emotional. So much sadness knowing the inevitable of Dr Glassman's passing but to see all the Drs 10 years later with their significant others with their children next to them. Beautiful! I'm sad that all of us who were huge fans of The Good Dr is probably feeling a bit emotional knowing that this is it! For me, not only am I sad, I have to admit I shed a few tears during the ending. I bet a lot of you did as well. If I could share my thoughts with the cast of the good Dr, I'd thank them for giving us fans some wonderful years. Also, they will be sadly missed. And, to Freddie Highmore, you played a better than brilliant role which as a nurse who works in mental health with patients who has autism, YOU NAILED IT!! Best of luck to each and every one of you🙏

Brandon Larracuente returned back. I knew he was going to, I just thought it was going to be Episode 9 when he returned, but it was the finale.

It was a beautiful ending. I was a teeny tiny bit skeptical how they could pull off a series finale at this point in the screenwriting, but they really pulled it off! Cried tears of joy omg, spoiler- I love that they brought back some recent characters at the very end, I wish they brought back Dr Andrews the same way, but I still love the ends of every one of their storylines :')

How to watch India ?

I am a real doctor who avoids doctor shows like the plague. None are realistic, all scripts seem to have come out of the deep index of Harrison's "Internal Medicine". That said, I recently found this show, and I love it. It definitely brought me back to early internship/residency. The stresses, the egos, the arrogance, the genius, the human beings you come up against is very, very real. An autistic/savant physician? I've met a few with Asperger s' Syndrome, no true autism. And I love how they actually get X-rays correct. And the challenges and horrors Shawn faces, and can come away almost unscathed? As a parent, I just want to hug that kid and tell him, it's going to be alright, he's going to make it, on his own eventually. To the producers: thank you! Decent television, it's a rarity.

Oh man why did they have to go with the fade to black to end the series? Does the good doctor get whacked in the end? We may never know unfortunately.

This isn't the first time that they introduced a new family member without saying the name. Spoilers... At the end of the last Harry Potter film, he and Ginny have three kids, one of which is Albus Severus Potter which we know because he said his name. The names of the other two were never said but their names were James and Lily just like his parents

Especially disappointing for me about Ncis Hawaii! Ending the series on a shortened season and a cliffhanger sucks!

This show should not have ending. It was a good ending, but autism should have it continue ,especially for people with autism.

The only character missing was Clay.

ABC is annoying always cancelling good shows. I will not start another series on their channel. They are stupid!
