It's had some bad reviews in the past, as it is a MASSIVE Victorian Hotel & was quite run down. It's been renovated in 2022.
My Honest Review, of my first stay, in an EPIC hotel with history! Not just the room as I explore the hotel itself and the beautiful reception & grand staircase.

Comment on cashless. I agree with you about being forced to pay by card. I went to a public toilet in Scarborough today, July 2024. On the seafront, South Bay, near this hotel. It cost 50p and it only took cash cards. When I got inside it, it was filthy. Not worth 50p and no way was the fact that no one can pay cash acceptable. No receipt was given either. It said the door opened automatically after 5 minutes but I didn't wait that long! There was a button to release the lock on the door but it took several attempts to get it to work!

Positive review of a cool old Hotel I agree too but filming and sound quality awful especially out in the windy street.But well done for trying mate.

I agree Thanks for the feedback, it was only recorded on my phone, im intending on getting a better camera and using better mufflers.

For £73 ya definitely not being robbed. Old history and a great view of the ocean. I can imagine this place being haunted as fck. Ha
