I would recommend the game Darkness Within: In Pursuit of Loath Nolder. It's an older game, but it has a good lovecraftian setting, amazing atmosphere, puzzles and story. It plays a bit like this one, but with more point and click elements. It's a creepy game, but has no jumpscares or chase scenes.

Hey boys, not sure if this will make a good video, but a good little horror/ exploration game I played a few years back was "I Can't Escape Darkness". It's a rogue-like, puzzley, dungeon crawler horror inspired by Lovecraft (and we know much you love your cosmic horror, Tom) you don't need to run from things - there's very little reading - it's mostly creepy, claustrophobic atmosphere. The only thing that may make it not work for video format is it's one of those games you're expected to die in a lot and learn from mistakes, so it may be a bit repetitive to watch. But if you think it looks like your thing I'd highly recommend!
