Hey Tom you should try The Crooked Man. It's a 2D Horror like Faith that came out way back in 2014 but recently got added to Steam. It was the first 2D horror I ever played and I think you'll like it a lot.

I'm watching this on a cloudy day, and the clouds outside keep getting darker and darker. It's really atmospheric. This was such a good game, genuinely creepy and unsettling. Edit: As I commented this the thunder and rain started up.

I almost choked on my lunch when Simon said "It's Stephen Hawking!" during that one finale. Definitely a reference most people probably would have made, but the sudden thought of him going around with a shotgun hunting demons still made me laugh. :)

Ooh, that boss battle looked kinda hard, nicely done! And I love the deer ending, haha, I think that ending creeped me out the most, I mean, can you imagine? Just crashing and a buncha deer are surrounding you? Terrifying, haha, I love it!

This game reminds me of the real-life horrors of exorcisms recklessly performed on people who later died because, shocker, they weren't possessed and things like torture and deprivation kill humans. That in itself is creepy; having your freedom and then life suddenly taken away because your religious family thinks you're possessed.

Rotoscoping is where they edit out film so they can insert digital effects behind things.

Yeah they're kind of nice and at least just flashed on the screen so you could pause and read it he skip the rest of the fifth ending where it talks about the creature having vitamin D deficiency which is common in children kept indoors. Also I think the ending where he shot that guy near the shed I kind of think that was the original priest because he's been following you the entire game if you look in the mirror he's behind you and he's watching you through windows so I don't know if that says he disappeared but I think he's still around and you killed him also isn't he called a father I don't know I played this game yesterday too I got all the endings except for the shoot the dead Squirrel again one I didn't think the shoot a dead thing also it wasn't in the circle when I walked over there it was empty.

Well the face cam thing this game is only square resolution, so they had space to spare. but yeah they could have not added it out some of the scary parts also if you walk back into the house the gun response I beat this game yesterday they skipped some interesting parts of the endings with the newspaper reports
