Nice bloopers! I’m amazed that you have only had a total of 45 failures on such a very difficult WAD, as I usually make 100 or 1000 failed attempts on a single map for a success run. I think I would do more death than you did even if I played normal (not speedrun) because I am not very careful. Your survival skills are amazing.

One thing I've not seen yet in an outtakes video is decino getting so angry at a death that he forgets to speak English and reverts back to his native tongue. Would be hilarious hearing him rage and curse in Dutch! 😆

I can’t imagine how time consuming it must be to sit down and record all of this footage, especially with such an enormous WAD such as Sunder; I personally would not have the patience lmao. Thank you for the high quality content Decino :)

The Blunder compilation may be 25 mijutes long but it will never be enough to truly show the massive pain of losing 40 minutes of progress in a near instant. Also I don't know how you didn't ragequit Precarious after 15 mishaps...I guess it was just the principle of the thing! I look forward to whatever you end up playing through next! I've already had to go back to older videos for my decino fix, even rewatched your Doom 1 playthroughs!

9:15 Pooh Bear Man makes a return!

That precarious level has had the most frustrating deaths and it also shows that sometimes a map doesn´t need a big number of monster to be deadly. This Wad is insanely difficult, after having seen your gameplay through each map I can't imagine the amount of strategy, skill, necessary analysis of each battle and other things that you will have put in to get ahead in each map. The rounds of deaths on different levels were fun, the platform areas take the gold medal in number of deaths. And the battles in this Wad are insane the number of enemies and the positioning of enemies to stop the player. 12:45 And that cell bug was really very what's going on here. 16:12 And other levels of Sunder have tested the strength of the decino keyboard keys and his rage to become the pumpkin doom angry man. 19:30 decino last words: This fight is not that bad, 3 seconds later he dies. Also congratulations for having overcome a Wad of this caliber in a single game segment. It was entertaining and I hope I can continue to see more content that you are doing. Congrats Decino. You've come very far. Think about it, you had fewer retries in old Sunder total vs Map 28 Maelstrom of Sunlust!! Fascinating to watch you single segment these. Insane Gazebo is an artistic genius indeed.

What I like the most about this is that here we have the opportunity to see the process. In all of the other Sunder videos we see only a result, but not this. All the anger, frustration, mistakes, surprises are here. That is why it's so beautiful. Like a form of art. Amazing!

I had such trouble with the room where you had your 2nd death. I think that was where I realized that I'm really not good enough to try these kind of wads, even though my entire idea for trying it to begin with was to practice a bit at a raised difficulty and hopefully let some improvement wear off so I could complete Eviternity. I think in the end I just had my soul crushed too much and have left playing doom 2 by the wayside. I did mange to UV Max single segment 25 or so Eviternity maps so I'm not too unhappy with that considering I never really played FPS games until you inspired me to give it a shot after I ran into your Heal Revealed play throughs a few years ago. Congrats again and FWIW, if you really had the time/energy/desire you could UV Max SS new Sunder IMO. However, I think you'd get far more enjoyment out of doing something else, but I do enjoy seeing you push your limits and improve. For a pretty poor uneducated FPS player I think I can tangibly see your improvement and its kinda cool to see it vicariously. All the best.

24:15 - Trust it to be an 80-damage missile and it take the equivalent of exactly 80 damage to kill you! (44 health, 36 armour). EDIT: Never mind, I forgot to carry the one. Only 26 armour was taken off, so it would be 54% health lost. Still, it was an 80 damage missile!

Map five I ended up skipping because exactly like you said I said so many times NOOOOOO I fell so many times doing that level I did try I think I got as far as the pain elemental fight but I found myself getting so stressed that I just skipped over it I will say though I did enjoy sunder much more than I thought I would although I died so many times and I didn't pistol start each level so I carried over my weapons not that made much difference but I did give a leg up it's a lot worse when your more than half way through a level or near the end mainly with those later levels when your spending over an hour to get to a point and then you fall or get killed so many times I thought I can't do this its too much but my stubbornness kept me going lol. I'm currently playing through Sunder. It feels good watching someone with your skill struggle with it as well. Some of this stuff feels impossible.

I don't think I'll be grabbing Sunder (either edition) for quite some time. Yeesh... That being said, congrats on finishing this one.

Everything is so perplexing after your playthrough of Italo Doom. According to you his wad is hard, and I don't have any reasons to think otherwise. But on video it doesn't looks too tough. Well, appearance might be deceiving... Valiant gave me one heck of a lesson.

Not sure if this is a blooper compilation or a treatise on how terribly(or evily) map 5 is designed.

Okay, so 1 thing I learned from this playthrough that is worse than slaughter is platforming. At least for decino, I would suck in both slaughter and platforming :D. And the worst combination is apparently annoying platforming + pain elementals/ lost souls. I can see why. Also really good patience, I would most likely ragequit after 5-6 attempts and I would die like 100 times more total if I even tried to play Sunder, than you did in all your runs. Practice runs also take a while too, as in maps like these, 1 attempt is often not enough to practice it all perfectly. Kudos for all the footage too, that's a serious dedication right there. And also commentary in each of your attempts. I can't imagine repeating myself all the time, after many previously unsuccessful attempts. You really need to have a certain personality to create these kind of playthroughs, cause not everyone could bear through making these kind of playthroughs. And your blind 100% playthroughs are also fairly unique. Keep doing what you're doing!
