A story that's been told repeated by several ppl- as well as confirmed by some of the ppl there is that one of the great blues guitarists of the day said when he met Jimmi he was playing in this little back room at a studio and he was so intimidated by the sounds Hendrix was getting out of his simple Strat/tube amp setup that he not only refused to even get his guitar out, he stopped playing for almost a year. I can't remember the guitarist, but I remember he was really good- and he did play again and go on to do great things but- apparently meeting Jimmi really shook him up. One reason I believe it is because I can relate to that feeling so well, I've run into ppl that just blew me away and it made me feel the same way- like a complete failure and a fool. It gets easier as you get older though and start letting go of the ego- still sucks though. It will never be easy to run into someone half your age, been playing maybe a 3rd as long as you- and they can just light you up. But that's the way it works- some ppl just have a natural inclination towards it- and others, like me- have to work ourselves to death to even get close to them.

it's super innovative, but, the context of it is also what makes it so great, early morning on the last day of Woodstock, the sun is coming up! A Rude awakening to let the semi-conscious masses know the trip is almost over, the weekend Utopia was great while it lasted, but the wheels of the Global Military-Industrial-Defense Complex can't be bothered with flowered headbands, free love, and inner happiness. The gears continue to turn and the Wheels spin on, trampling everything in their path, destroying allies and enemies alike.

When I was 12 years old, about two or three years after Hendrix passed, I snuck into a theater to see Woodstock. I was an enormous fan, but it being the early 70s, I'd never seen a video of Hendrix before. I waited through the three hour movie for Hendrix. Then,,, I'd never imagined such music could exist. It was more powerful than I dreamed possible. There had simply never been anything like it before. Half a century later, I still get chills when I hear it. Allow me to share a thought. The Woodstock festival was the final expression of a tumultuous and revolutionary decade in US history (and occurred within a month of the Apollo 11 moon landing - ironic how rock music and the infancy of space exploration coincided). And at the climax of this celebration of peace and love, Hendrix improvises the most violent interpretation of the national anthem possible. He reminded the hippie generation of the kind of world that waited for them when they returned to their lives. At the same time, he stood on the world stage, looked the most powerful nation on earth in the eye and said "You broke your covenant with God and your people." Now, every electric guitarist should learn it - or more specifically, learn from it. It's a necessary part of our education. I thank you for your demonstration. And in my youth, I spend a long time learning how to recreate it. But now I won't play it anymore. I still love and respect it as much as I always did, but I realized that it doesn't belong to me. It only belongs to Hendrix. Nobody else could carry that cultural symbolism.

Is that what you would recommend for this wah or had you messed with the pots on the inside if so how? Also, just want to say love the video and great job as always!
