That would make that an ineffective teaching for those there which is nonsense. He defined a fence which is what the Greek word He used means as well as upright stake. It proves an earlier usage by Yahusha that obliterates the notion of a cross. After following this issue for a couple of weeks, I think it would have been simpler and more straightforward if the word "cross" were defined or identified as either the "occult Roman symbol" (logo or insignia) or the "Roman instrument of death" (wooden cross). It wouldn't have been as confusing. Granted, the Greek "stauros" (stake) is not a cross; the NT writers used Greek but could have innocently conflated the word within the purely Roman context of the narrative. It becomes immaterial, therefore, if the instrument was a cross or a stake or a stake with a cross beam because it was the Romans who executed Yahusha. But the point is well taken; the RCC penchant for glorifying the cross symbol and even the "crucifixion" smacks of pagan odors and colors. End of the day, IT'S FINISHED! The glorious Heavenly Throne will remove all our blindness.

I also found interesting a guy that held fast to the belief of the cross. He took a vacation to Italy, he was in for a surprise of his life walking down the streets. He found images and statues of Jesus nailed to a Stake all over, He took it upon himself to inquire with several religious ministers, they set him straight on the matter. Jesus was murdered on a stake they told him how the cross was NOT the way he was executed. He came back with a new prospective knowing the Truth and not the lies he grew up being told.

Quick note.on Mathew . He uses a ,greek and Hebrew old testament . Some of his old testament quotes / references are closer to the Hebrew and other times closer to the greek . Which means Mathew can read both greek and hebrew

Yes the Romans did crucify people in the way you are speaking! But it wasn't common, remember Yahuwshua had a sighn above his head not his hands and if he and the two thieves were crucified in the manner you speak , there would be no need to break their legs ! So starou is the patibulum or transverse beam was used in Yahuwshua,s crucifixion

How is it you can't figure out you didn't make a point? An upright stake in which he would not have been hung all the way to the top has plenty of room for a sign. There is archaeology of one who was executed in the same manner in the time of Yahusha and oops! the orientation of the nail driven thru the hand much better fits one nailed to a stake. There is 0 evidence of a Roman crucifix period and you offer nothing but false narratives that you can't prove and never will. It is time to mature. Yah Bless.
