About One Hour One Life
This game is about playing one small part in a much larger story. You only live an hour, but time and space in this game is infinite. You can only do so much in one lifetime, but the tech tree in this game will take hundreds of generations to fully explore.
This game is also about family trees. Having a mother who takes care of you as a baby, and hopefully taking care of a baby yourself later in life. And your mother is another player. And your baby is another player. Building something to use in your lifetime, but inevitably realizing that, in the end, what you build is not for YOU, but for your children and all the countless others that will come after you. Proudly using your grandfather's ax, and then passing it on to your own grandchild as the end of your life nears.
And looking at each life as a unique story. I was this kid born in this situation, but I eventually grew up. I built a bakery near the wheat fields. Over time, I watched my grandparents and parents grow old and die. I had some kids of my own along the way, but they are grown now... and look at my character now! She's an old woman. What a life passed by in this little hour of mine. After I die, this life will be over and gone forever. I can be born again, but I can never live this unique story again. Everything's changing. I'll be born as a different person in a different place and different time, with another unique story to experience in the next hour...

The stress of trying to get a girl in a dying village is so real 😂 I once fed and kept my daughter alive and fed her babies, just so the town would live. Told all her kids their mom is sick, she cant hear us. Imagine her surprise when she came back to the game lol

Villages should build a locked room with a fire, food and clothes storage area for one mum to stand in with all the babies. Working mums toss them in there and then the key is kept outside the door so no one can get out until they're kids. Mums rotate the job when they get too old.

also it's true that people are trying to kill villages by constantly respawning into villages and running away!! murdering by killing their baby cooldowns! in the beginning that kid was probably just telling your mom to not constantly hold the baby because she'll overfeed and starve too quickly, which is a pretty good tip

Holding the baby is good though, it doesn't cost the mom anything to hold.

@@TwistedHBG if you hold the baby you'll feed it every single time a pip goes down, rather than waiting for when the baby has 2 pips so you'll fill those up for cheaper (still 1 pip to fill all of the baby's pips), isn't that how it works? regardless, it's more obvious when you're colder. holding the baby will make your food bar go down drastically

@@EugeneParallax but you don't only get hungry as usual though, right? have you tried holding a baby in a cold biome? your food bar goes down twice as fast because it ticks down while feeding the baby. at least last time i checked

@@celu5769 It goes down because you are in the cold biome. It doesn't matter whether you hold the baby there or not. Both arctic and desert biomes are very extreme, even with full insulation its hard to do much in there without getting hungry.

There is a way they could possibly deal with the griefer babies, just like irl, babies should be unable to move on their own for the first few minutes (2 or 3) or at least move much, much slower (to simulate crawling).

When the new clothing came out I spawn in as eve daughter. I thought I found a good spot for a village but in truth it was a bad spot since there was no milkweed. I tryed doing yum chain but not whole lot of food and also I was next to a fire but still no babies so I thought that they where spawning into the town that had the new clothing. I choose to leave my small village that I made and look for my mom. But I died of Yellow Fever and I looked up my family tree it was just me and my mom we both died from Yellow Fever which sucks.

In a recent game, I managed to nearly build a Newcomen Engine from scratch! But some idiot decided to use all the rope on doors so I wasn't able to finish it before I died.

Mui Ton it is the Multipurpose Newcomen Engine, and you can add different parts to it to get different types of the engine, like the Newcomen Roller and Newcomen Hammer. You need these to make anything technologically advanced.

Hey dude I've been watching your videos for the past couple months and I really enjoy the content! Specifically for this game. I would like to see more videos where it's more of a struggle to survive and you don't spawn in a town. That's just my opinion and I enjoy the content that you have put out, I just like the survival aspect of a lot of different games and that is what I enjoy about some of your videos. Kudos though, 100%! A subscribe and a like.

You can't kill babies by over feeding. Over feeding babies means picking them up CONSTANTLY and wasting food

Wood fences are incredibly expensive and they can only be built in advanced towns.
