Anyone going through this please do better, you’ll thank yourself in the long run. I’ve dodged a FEW jokers from getting this knowledge. The Grown Boy series is on point! They really help me through all the gaslighting I've been through. Looking forward to repeating this everyday. Thank you for addressing the Grown boys lifting you up and down - it really confused me in a past relationship and I thought it was my fault -- that why couldn't I be strong when he wanted me to but yet when I was strong he resented me? I replayed this so many times in my head. It is also confusing when it seems like his friends seem to normalize his behavior - that they must all think I'm crazy? It was especially hard with him being a trainer in the martial arts industry - where there is a majority of "alpha" men and the friends he would go out with to be promiscuous with women. It was a very tumultuous time. You and your family are a blessing, Tony! I can't thank you enough for being a part of my healing journey.

You don’t know me but your comment saved me finally from heartache that none of my family/therapist/friends/psychiatrist could help me see/understand. Leaving that relationship when they’ve broken you down so much/far and all you feel is guilt/useless/turmoil but yet knowing when they lift you up, it’s GOLDEN. I kept wanting to go back (emotionally) for so long because he toyed with my emotions/heart SO much and long that I truly and desperately didn’t know who I was walking away from that situation when I definitely knew who I was when I walked into it. His resentment for me started when I started sticking up for myself. That’s when I also started to notice his interest shift. Suddenly he wasn’t as willing to speak to me, hang out or do pretty much anything. I felt devastated so I ultimately tried to then give everything + more. I got nothing in return but I thought if I just keep giving and giving - I’ll EARN his validation / reassurance / affection. Instead, I get used for my body when I would’ve NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER allowed this before him. That’s exactly why I WAS single / distant. Because men KNEW they could not easily access me / my body. But that grown boy? He met me during a very vulnerable and emotional time (best friend betrayed me and I was getting over a heart break from six months prior) and when I tell you that I REGRET ever allowing him to see me vulnerable and making him my “safe space”…girl. Gave him my body too soon, it was so awful that I called him back to apologize the next day (it was my fault because I wasn’t actually INTERESTED in him, he made me feel FORCED to) and after that - everything Tony described is what I went through. I spent that ENTIRE relationship trying to prove myself. Trying to be worthy to him. To feel and be validated (like I did for him) and in the end I got used, silent treatment when I called out his absurd behavior and ultimately blocked. I kept holding on desperately because I felt like he took EVERYTHING from me while he gave me NOTHING (substantial) in return. I helped that grown boy through his mommy issues, sat up and let myself be emotionally abused, had sex because I was terrified when I would reject him (he’d get really angry and start acting like I was obligated to get him off), and gas lighted, manipulated and overall he cheated on me, TOLD on himself and my stupid low self esteem ass not only forgave him but he gaslight me so terribly into making me believe it was MY fault and I got silent treatment again and eventually I went crawling back apologizing for HIM cheating on me. I have never felt so humiliated, ashamed, resentful, regretful or psychotic before this relationship. I have had to see SIX therapists while In That relationship and out. Combined. That man has seen NONE. The abuse he does to women as Tony described will emotionally destroy someone like myself who was vulnerable and needy. Ladies, or anyone read this, PLEASE KNOW when to walk away and PLEASE KNOW you DO NOT have to ever ever EVER feel like you owe a man ANYTHING that he has not EARNED nor RESPECTS. I WISH my dad could’ve told me this. I felt like had my dad had these conversations with me, my self worth wouldn’t have plummeted to earths core to end up in an emotionally abusive and toxic relationship for three years. And the only thing my dad says is “she’ll see for herself”. Had he TOLD ME “baby girl if you keep this up, that man will take more than what you will ever have to offer and you’ll still never be good enough for him” I would’ve LEFT. I would’ve picked up my self respect!! But this comment - THANK YOU. You have finally free me and I cannot thank you enough. I can FINALLY move on and bring closure to that horrendous relationship and stop telling myself I have to feel guilty for ending what was NEVER going to be good for me. I needed this so much. Thank you.

I met a guy online dating, great convo, chemistry, too good to be true... went on our first date and he invited me back to his place afterwards which I know better but I figured he could just hold me. Nope he was trying to have sex all night and then because I refused he ghosted me. A 42 year old man was perpetrating just to get laid and mad because I wouldn’t? So disappointing! But I’m soooooo glad he didn’t get me on my back. Listen to Tony ladies. There’s a lot of Grown Boys out here!!!

It’s videos/messages like this that help to validate your sanity. No, you’re not crazy. He’s a grown boy. Real men wouldn’t put you through the crap they do. Don’t put up with it. Move on.

Men judge too harshly and unfairly. Can't see how their actions can affect women. It's like they have no compassion. Thank you for your insights, very much appreciated.

It’s a sad day. All these grown boys who aren’t worthy of a conversation, will continue to show up foul. For the mere fact there is more slits and tits on the internet than a 3rd world country. Women must understand the answers are within ourselves. Truly LESS is more. Leaving little for the imagination isn’t sexy or confident. These behaviors are signs of brokenness. Sin is rampant and through these lenses it’s hard to compete until you turn to God who all things are possible.

Thanks Tony it’s disgusting that grown boys are like this I thank you for helping women get through this and helping them come out of confusing. You definitely change my mind set because this is true you can be celibate for years and make that one mistake next thing you know rumors all around lies etc... I know my worth and the mistakes I made now I’m focus on myself my kids the Good lord and these blessings. You are a blessing to young women and older who didn’t have a father figure all my wisdom come from you about men. I have a baby boy and I’m definitely looking for these signs when he get older. He won’t treat women like this and won’t be around bad influences.
