I think the "glitch" you're saying is not actually a defect ,it is to avoid slipping due to sudden acceleration on a wet road in rainy mode or prevent accidents in urban mode...

the fact that it can do 40kmph at 6 th gear without stalling is amazing my honda cbr 150r starts knocking if i go any lower than 45kmph on 6th gear

It's a useful feature on commuter bikes. My scooter loses power when I'm taking a right turn on an incline and use my hand for signalling. That's one place I wish I had this auto sail or glide through feature.

This also happen in my dio scooty when i don't change mobil for 4 months

GTT will work well in first 3 gears. When u r around at 10kmph, just keep it in half clutch and release it slowly. You'll feel the good part of GTT

It also work in all the bikes but maybe only in first gear when you slowly releases clutch it starts moving on it's own

In Apache RTR 200 BS6 Riding modes this GTT work flawless after putting hand on accelerator response is instantaneous

It annoys me too and heres why. I live in a hilly place with no traffic as such. Alot of times when m going down hill and use engine braking to get down easily. Now what GTT does is raise rpm in situations where I need engine braking.. so I gotta be extra careful and press clutch multiple times to keep gtt away. There should be a way to turn off gtt.

Yes, if the bike is taken control by GTT and if there is no throttle response when you want to increase the speed, it's a serious issue. It can be software glitch or a hardware failure.

TVS always sells their bikes on the basis of gimmicks or standard featured that other bikes have but they only highlight it as a feature. The GTT technology is present in 99% fuel injected motorcycles, it works on my 2015 rs200, 2013 Duke 390. In 2011 Honda CBR250R had this feature too. There is a stepper motor present in the throttle body which very slightly opens the throttle plates upon sensing load. In 2021, all bikes from 110cc to 1200cc every fuel injected bike has this feature.

Try to update the software if available. My 310GS dosent have such Issues. It works perfectly.

I found the GTT+ feature really useful. Use it in my rr310 everytime. You seems to have a software issue with your bike.

A new smaller segment bike also have this feature GTT - Hero Xtreme 160r. Personally used it. It is only helpful while throttling from 20-60mph at 4th-5th gear. Biggest con of GTT is sudden throttling doesn't work while cruising in GTT. Though an interesting technology.

I dont face that issue coz i use gtt most of the time with banglore traffic. And in sports and track you have gtt for only 2 gears. I think its better to give it for a software checkup.

My bullet also has this feature but starting speed is 30 and afterwards when engin warmup it goes to 25

My dominar also does the same thing.. it'll maintain the minimum RPM it is set to and won't stall untill I brake beyond that speed without using the clutch.. but I face no throttle lag at all.. I always use it in traffic and whenever I need to accelerate it does it smoothly.. I guess tvs has to tweak their ECU a bit to make sure it doesn't intervene with the accelerator.. But overall I find it to be a really cool thing..and bajaj doesn't even call it a feature as such😅 my friends think i have some kind of a cruise control cuz it can go upto 50kmph in 6th gear

Not sure about the fancy terminology, but in cars when you put it in top gear and let's go the ECU makes sure the vehicle doesn't switch off, it goes close to idling but woefully slow. Not sure if they have fancy name to that 😉 really annoying actually 😂

its for gliding through traffic not cruise control... i have the same bike ...the annoying part of this bike is the smart connect which does not work but GTT is fine

Pathetic feature in my opinion, My experience with gtt+ in mumbai traffic is worst. 1. GTT activation time is kind of tricky, by the time it activates most probably you'll again have to stop due to traffic ahead. 2. When it activates, bike suddenly gets a boost in speed which is dangerous in traffic conditions like Mumbai where there is hardly any breathing space and you might bump with vehicle before you. 3. Normally you will get the feeling that your bike might stall. 4. Too much intrusive

GTT comes in even 160cc bikes like apache RTR 1604v , xtreme 160r😂

You have to pull the clutch to disable gtt and then you have to give throttle

Bro I have Duke 250bs6 same when I put in 1gear I don't need to accelerate it will go 9speed when I gear 2nd with out acceleration I only use clutch it will go 14kmp when I use 3rd gear 18speed with out acceleration just when bike we started just gear needs to put and slowly leave clutch enough no need acceleration it will go front even in Duke 390 also same speed even it is more cc more power I taken my frnd bike and I checked same speed 1st gear 9 2nd gear 14

Same thing happens in duke 390 bs4 also.I think its because of its high torque🤷‍♂️
