All of the worlds of the Imperium shall look to their own defense. They shall also look to the defense of the Imperium, and the prosecution of such wars as the Emperor in His wisdom shall decree.

Hello Ladies and Gents, 40k Tributes or Lt.Vulpine here, So due to Rico Management taking down my Death Company tribute and being unable to repost it I have decided to post this one instead. Sorry everyone :(

Reminds me a guardsman I played during during a dark heresy campaign, a keeper of secrets was trying to tempt us to Chaos. Keeper of secrets-"I can provide you all that you desire." Guardsman-"you cannot" Keeper of secrets-"then tell me what you desire?" Guardsman-"that you and your foul kind will never harm my people again"

I have a soft spot for the guard, it is easy to show no fear when you're an 8' tall superhuman who has been conditioned to be beyond fear but a 5'10" dude in some cleanex armor with a flashlight for a weapon standing against a wave of gaunts THAT takes courage.

I agree that the Imperial Guard are brave, but I also need to say that their armour is not like kleenex but instead an armour that can't take direct fire from higher impact weapons but instead lower impact weapons. It is from my understanding that "flak armour" is even used amongst veterans due to its dependable usage in most combat situations and protection. P.S If you want to kill a Imperial Guardsman throw a rock the size of his head instead of shooting him.

we are weak alone but strong together we are normal men who stand against death to fight in the name of the emperor we are asked to do what we do best die standing and try to take out as many enemies as we can until we fall and we are fighting for a better tomorrow we are fighting for friends family the imperium and the emperor what are you fighting for when you join chaos only your own greed and the fear of death you are a coward but the men of the imperium we fight for a righteous cause and the fact we'd rather die on our feet than live on our knees as pawns of chaos there is no braver type of man than that and what have we accomplished we beat back our enemies time and time again we've been able to thrive in life and if we believe this and believe in the emperor then I promise you the imperium will never fall

You do know some Eldar crafts have actual treaty with SM Chapters for help in case one of them needs it right? Not to mention Eldar were one of the reasons why Guilliman is back.... Also notice in Guilliman's speech about the new Crusade he mentions heretics,daemons and traitors, but not xenos....I think Eldar can actually be good allies....

In the Only War RPG Rulebooks, there's the story of a mixed Attilan Rough Rider/Death Riders of Krieg regiment (Col was Attilan, Major was Krieger) There was some...... disagreement on tactics. This lasted until the Kriegers held the line alone against a Chaos Marine strike force to buy the Attilans time to regroup. The Attilan Colonel wrote in her journal that there was no one she would ever respect more than Kriegers now.

I must protest. The Hammer of the Emperor is clearly the space marines. The Guard is the anvil upon which whosoever may stand in humanities way shall be broken.

Space Marines are not the Hammer. The reason the Imperial Guard, are often referred to as The Hammer of the Emperor is a because of how colossal the military is, it is consisting of many billions of regiments throughout the Imperium of Man, they are called the Hammer because of their numbers smashing into the enemies of man, smashing down onto the Anvil of war. The Space Marines, They are my bulwark. They are not numerous as the guard to be considered the Hammer

Warhammer would have been cooler if those dumb space marines didn't exist ! Imagine the guard alone trying to battle all those enemies and horror and somehow pull it out and think of methods, now that would be respectably cool. But somehow only humans have marines ? Get out .
