I say this at the end, but the assumed human limit of Ultra Custom night (without extreme exploits) is around 74000points, the equivalent of 370/20. Safe to say that an ALL MAX run is impossible, maybe even for a perfect input computer TAS run.

I love how even Spiff, experienced runner of many a challenge, is momentarily speechless as he's greeted with "The first thing I do is die, because there's a character that will kill you if you don't die within the first 30 seconds of the night :)" Edit: I misheard. You don’t actually die. The character jumpscares you, but it lets you continue the night afterwards, and it just puts some annoying arrows on the screen and does vine boom sounds for the rest of the night (or a while at least). So really it’s just a distraction

As an avid touhou player, I'm actually really impressed with how well you played the rainbow chica mouse bullet hell level. Those were some MEAN patterns and you just put your head down and made it through no issue.

to be fair touhou uses arrow keys, so you're always at a fixed speed, but here it uses the mouse so if a bullet is miliseconds away from hitting you, you can just fling your cursor away really quick

Fun fact: the steel wool character is why spiff's all max run was ending at 0.1 seconds, because steel wool delays the begining of the night

the funniest part of Ultra is the fact I got like 40k without using like 1/5 of the mechanics due to how many activate only when using certain systems or checking certain areas

Honestly my favorite thing to do with Ultra Custom Night is what I call the "Lazy Night", which is basically trying to get the maximum number of points while doing as little as possible, which can actually get pretty high due to how many characters are either straight up harmless or are only a threat if you do something specific.

Yeah, there’s a bunch that’re activated when you close the monitors or change system, but like, you don’t have to. And there’s characters like Adventure Nightmare Fredbear that are passively blocked so long as you don’t do certain actions you’d only do to block other characters. As long as you don’t have characters like Fredbear Plush or Adventure Marionette on, you don’t even have to worry about characters that activate on certain cams other than the default one. The only “challenge” is that reset vent. still doesn’t have a hotkey. The visuals and audio aren’t a problem since Neon turns your screen solid yellow and several characters make you go deaf. (Also, quick aside, but add Freddy Frostbear. If you have the fan and AC off, he won’t kill you. Alternatively, you could add some of the Jack-o Aminatronics, but only if you keep the fan on AND don’t use any characters that increase heat like Henry’s tapes or the sun. Speaking of which, don’t use HandUnit. Ever. He makes you do tasks which require player input, alongside the ability to see and hear) Edit: Wow, that looked way shorter when it was in the mobile text box that only displays 5 lines at once.

This is the FNAF equivalent of one of those MUGEN packs which are just hundreds of characters thrown together with absolutely no attempt at balance or playtesting. I'm here for it.

The best Ultra Custom Night Players explaning what's going on on the screen to us mortals is just like Yugioh players explaining the game to outsiders.

Yugioh is just a simple game were you summon something, search your deck for your key combo pieces, link summon, do some more special summons. Probably play a magic card to search for a hand trap. Probably go into an xyzs to get even more advantage. Build up a bunch of negates. Maybe play your archetype fusion spell or use predaplant verta to summon the fusion monster. Then maybe have a hand trap or two in your hands for further negates. While being mindful that your opponent can have a no u in hand at any moment to stop your plays. Then cry because they tributed your entire first turn board with a giant rock, making you lose everything. Very simple and pendulums are bad don't use them, unless your deck evolves around them.

I hate the fact I could understand a tiny fraction of the first clip (markiplier in the corner, bonnie playing their guitar really loudly, balls falling due to heat, sock puppet that needs to be clicked, mouth at the top and bottom that needs to be clicked, etc.) I don't play with *nearly* as many characters as that, but some of those I *do* play with and it scares me

I now find the Chaos mod for Security Breach tame compared to Ultra Custom Night, despite Chaos mod having around 150-200 events. I guess the lore to Ultra Custom Night is that it serves as a reserve hell to make sure that William Afton will be sent here if he completes 50/20 mode.

Honestly I think the UlCN devs making a character like Neon Freddy is a wonderful example of game design teaching players how a game is meant to be intended. Everyone - *everyone* - had that moment upon voting up UCN where they said "I wonder what 50/20 is like" and booted it up and played for like 10 seconds before dying. But, importantly, they weren't dead because the game said so, they just had no idea what to do. It's almost like a challenge. "Can you do this?" Meanwhile, in UlCN, you start up max mode and die in 0.00 seconds. It isn't a "can you do this?," it's a "you can't do this." Telling the player that completion isn't at all something on the table. Even if you somehow beat the game with every other animatronic on 20, you cannot beat that max mode. It's not a game to be beat, it's a game to test your limit against. Neon Freddy is an invitation to slow down, so everything the devs designed for you. Because even after all that, after reaching and even beating your own limit, Neon Freddy will be there. Reminding you that, sometimes, completion is impossible. And that's okay. It's the journey after all, right?

Giga Monty should consistently path to the nearest open door, if neither door is open he will stand still. This would require you to close one door until he gets half way to the other door, alternating. You can hear his footsteps to tell where he is, he will also occasionally say "hey little guy" when he's near an open door.

if you think about comming back to this game spiff, you missed a bunch of stuff in the campaign mode loosely what you missed: theres an area you missed completely to the left of the snow town to the right of vr toy freddy and the bridge in the green waste place, and to the bottom of said bridge

here me out: 720/20, but it's the "disable" speedrun, where you try to get rid of all the characters ASAP, wheter through jumpscare, or if they cannot kill if encountered (and you can tell whom), they are removed.

I think the biggest problem with the campaign is just how confusing it is. There’s a whole bunch of random un-fun mini games, the map layout is just confusing and unnatural, and understanding what you’re actually supposed to do is very annoying. I’d prefer a much more linear longer version of the campaign that’s also a little easier to follow.

I will Craft blocks and place them onto your screen. Your mouse and cursor cannot normally pass through them. However, if you’re holding the right click, you can line them out.
