I will never bring a child into this world. I simply don't want that obligation/responsibility. Call me selfish, but I love my "me time" all the time. I like having that choice of whether I will or won't deal with someone else, and not having that guilt weigh on my shoulder if I chose not to.
@Brianab3ar9 жыл бұрын
It doesn't make you selfish, it would be selfish if you brought a child into the world and didn't give enough attention to it.

I love Tamar's answer about life not stopping after having kids. Also love Tamera's real answer about reminding herself to care/remember herself as a woman. I'm a natural giver too (which is why being married and then having kids is important to me). But I was a pushover for years, giving to everybody, not taking time for myself, and I felt the effects of it. These days, I do take time to groom, treat, and look after myself. Its very important for me as a woman. And I expect to keep this up for the rest of my life. .

I had my first child at the age of 25. That was considered old. In hindsight that was still young. I love my children but starting at 30 would have probably been better. I was a better mother than a wife to be totslly honest. Building a bond with your spouse is equally important as being a good parent. Great topic.

Omg, glad they hit this topic!!! Yay, naw but forreal it's very relatable because as women we are always wife, mother, and then just a plain woman please that Dnt never hardly happen to feel like a great, awesome, classy, beautiful lady. It's so important to a woman to have that separation sometimes it means so much!! To be those things are wonderful but when that's all you do is nurture and tend to your family and forget that you are still a gorgeous, talented, amazing woman sometimes you beat yourself up and have a hard time copping and understanding yourself as an individual. It can take a toll on any persons life if they don't make time for self period, it make you feel selfish tho if you get the chance to focus on just you but you only get one you as we know of anyways lol, so go for it and enjoy life!! Don't get it twisted tho love , share, and do what's necessary for your family but don't forget yourself can't stress it enough!!!

@smilealwaysnatasha34239 жыл бұрын
Yeah but thats hiw you feel about kids not everyone feels that way or wont kids. Dont you hear about parents killing their kids because not everyone is mommy material or have motherly instinct or love. Some people like kids and some ppl see them as a hinder or burden. Thats just life. I love my nieces and nephews to death but I am so not rushing to have any at all.

Kids aren't for everyone. No one should be made to feel bad about how they feel...everyone is different. And I much rather ppl realize kids aren't for them and dnt have them instead of having them and not taking care of them.

I love kids, but its not for me to be a parent at this point in time. Honestly, it takes courage to deprive yourself of motherhood, it just means you're mature enough to know you can't be the best mother you can be yet and you have to be the best version of yourself before you become one. Find yourself, live your life for you long enough before you give your life for another. I'm sick and tired of mothers who bring children into the world and neglect them. Fucking stop it.

My ONLY mission in life is to make my mom completely happy! Even if I suffer...If she is happy, I'm happy! I'm 15 and I obey my mom to the max, she is the one that is in total control. Everyday, I come home from school and the 1 st thing I do, is give her my phone...don't want any distractions, then I do my homework, then all the chores for that day, which must be done to my moms satisfaction. Then I do whatever she tells me to do with no back talk or arguing. On the weekends, I do want she wants me to do, Before I have my "Free time"
