I liked America more, she has made a lot of bad decisions in her life but she has a good heart and she has always cared about other people, while Eadlyn thinks about herself almost all the time. Kile is so adorable and I love his relationship with Eadlyn, I really hope that he will end up with her, because he is the only person who could love her and make her a better person at the same time, since he is not afraid to tell her what he really thinks about her. Plus, it was really nice to reunite with the old characters :)

Spoiler! I hope that America will be okay, because I don't want Maxon to be heartbroken, he loves her so much and he is my favourite character. He deserves happiness.

To be honest I didn't completely hate Eadlyn. I personally ship her with Kile and I think she'll continue to grow and he will help her in that process. She's spoiled but that's partially because of the life she grew up with, always knowing she would be queen one day. Hopefully she'll have a breakthrough and actually fall in love.

I'm for Kyle too!!!! :D I think he handles Eadlyn really well and I like their cute little moments when they tease each other. I guess growing up together, they've come to be comfortable with each other's company even if they didn't really spend time together. Erik's a good match for her too. She becomes this nicer person when she's with him. Hale's interesting as well. And as much as I find Henri really cute, I don't think it'll work out like you said. And to clear that up, yes, heart problems happen to run in America's family. Her older sister Kenna died from it as well. It was mentioned in the earlier chapters of the book, if I'm not mistaken.

DID YOU PUT YOUR NAME IN THE GOBLET OF FIRE?!! Couldn't stop laughing!! Here is my theory: Eadlyn will realize she's in love with Kile, but because of the promise to let him go to be happy, she will eliminate him for love, eventhough Kile will be in love with her too. And Eadlyn will choose the stupid Ean, for she cannot love anyone else but Kile. And Ean will probably try to kill Eadlyn to be king, because he is a psyco. And Kile will come back to save the day. Kile and Eadlyn get married. BOOM. REAL TALK.

I actually really liked this one. I'm sad it was so short though, I finished it in about 5 or 6 hours. The ending made me cry and I'm glad the book was full of fluff.

I wish we had another book in eadlyn's selection. It felt rushed because I didn't have time to fall in love with eikko. It was like she suddenly loved him. I adored Maxon's advice to her before she prosed (I think that's my favorite point in the book :)))) )

Erik must win! Or atleast Henri. Kile is an obvious choice. Typical ending if Kile wins the selection. Erik is amazing in my opinion but....I kinda have a hate love relationship with Eadlyn.

I totally agree with your ranking of the books. Selection was best, then Heir, then Elite then One. I kind of liked the book. I mean I kept reading these books when I was giving two stars. I knew what I was getting into. And they aren't even a hate read either? I actually like them. I don't know these books get me so confused on whether I like them or not...

You should continue it. Eadlyn was a bratty spoiled princess but you do see her grow a little in this book. And I have a feeling she'll grow even more in this next one.

This video is so on point like I can't even explain how accurate everything you said was XD. I'm team Kile too! My favorite part of the book was I think the baseball game, where there was basically almost everyone there :) It was so cute and nice =D I can't wait for the next book and your booktalk on it!

THIS. I completely agree with everything you're saying. But for me, the selection books became a guilty pleasure. They are so easy to read, and it kept me entertained through the books. But I almost put the book down in the beginning, GOD Eadlyn was annoying, luckily she grew and I hope she will continue to grow, because I don't punch my books, but that is the closest think to actually slapping that annoying character.

I don't know why but, I find it cute that Kile is Eadlyn's stress reliever. Like, I always noticed that they always go mwah mwah real deep when Eadlyn's stressed out. XD
