Sebastian has to be my all time favorite character ever in any book. Why? 1. I've always liked villians (especially complex ones) 2. Thanks to his demon blood it felt like Sebastian was destined to be evil even if he didn't want to be, even if there was potential to be good he was doomed. That made his character for me personally a lot more complicated. Like when in CoLs he asked clary if it was possible that someone like him could be redeemed/loved. Someone who by nature is evil with no say. It felt like he almost needed clary to love him in any way so that the Jonathan side shine a little more so he wouldn't be evil. Is it evil to want to be seen has more than a monster? More than what everyone and everything tells you you are? And by all people your sister! I mean he was willing to stop the war for that chance. But since he has demon blood he doesn't truly understand what love is, because he physically and mentally can't. Anyhow that's why I loved Sebastian.

I remember when I was reading CoHF and I got to that seen with Sebastian and the Queen. I SWEAR ON MY BOOKS THAT I WAS ABOUT TO THROW UP.

I absolutely love your enthusiasm with these books. It makes the reviews laughable and very entertaining. I just finished the book yesterday (FINALLY!) and I could not stop smiling and having mini squeals every time something awesome happened. I absolutely loved it!! It's probably my favorite one. I have to say what surprised me most was my feelings towards Sebastian at the end. I hated Sebastian with a passion. Some people said they felt sympathetic for him throughout the other books but I couldn't stand him because he seemed so impossible to kill. But then when Johnathan actually came to the surface after all the evil burned away I ACTUALLY felt sympathetic for him and I didn't think that was possible. Overall, I absolutely loved the book and honestly have no complaints whatsoever. It was so good!

And it was worth the wait, I love all the other booktubers but nobody else manages to capture the enthusiasm and passion that Christine expresses in her video! The one part i found really intriguing was when jace and clary were going to have sex in the demon realm, and jace just happened to have some condoms. So when hes packing to go to a home dimension of demons where there is an incredibly high chance he will die, where hes going to have to face the biggest threat to shadowhunters there ever was, and they dont know what they could face......he decides he needs condoms.........
