Great video and really interesting topic. I thought before this video that the AFL should remove the interchange cap, and now I feel even more strongly about that as it really provides no benefit to the game. It's intent was to make the game more free flowing by making players more tired and unable to setup their defensive systems as well as they could otherwise, but this has not happened and scoring has only decreased since 2014. Who really cares if a team decides to make a ridiculous number of rotations in a game? It doesn't affect the viewing experience at all, and I don't think we really want to see any more games decided like the North vs Sydney game last year.

I think it would be cool if we had the women's season interwoven with the men's league so we could both have more matches on per week but also allowing teams to have more byes to recover

Would be unlikely but maybe the NFL and their bye weeks might be something to look into. Especially with Tasmania messing up the schedule anyway. A week of rest especially after or maybe before the Thursday game should alleviate the stress a lot
