She makes it look like it’s only an “easy” double axel. There’s some kind of flair that Aliona has in her jumps that I can’t pinpoint, but it draws me in, and she’s such a wonder performer

@@clemj8487 actually for kamila it’s easier. She can’t do her quads or triple axel without it otherwise she can’t twist them all the way around. But a lot of people do find it harder with rippon.

Сейчас за риппон не дают надбавок. У Камллы обычно самое красивое приземление - с дли-и-инным и очень мягким выездом. Алена прыгала мощнее и более пролетно если брать пропорции ее роста и высоты/длины прыжка, приземлялась мягко, но выезд иногда коротковат. И Алена и Камилла прыгали выше Рики. Вот высота прыжка и его пролетность, а так же идеальная ось вращения дает повышение. На первой записи, у Камилы прыжок ощутимо под углом, поэтому он оценен ниже, хотя все докручено и выезд очень чистый.

Вообще-то с руками наверх многим легче прыгать…

arms over the head doesnt necessarily mean it is harder. For some people, it makes the jump harder and for some easier. It is the latter for kamila. Kamila cannot jump as well without the arms up, her axis destabilizes and she cant land the jump. When she does it with arms up, it makes the jump easier for her

i don't really think her axels are better than yuzu's but they are surely pleasing to watch. her programs are always beautiful to watch and so are jumps but speaking of technique hers is not the best

lmao better than yuzu’s 3a because of her… leg extension? yuzu’s 3a is a perfect jump in terms of take off, air position, axis, landing, height, and distance, while also doing complex transitions in and out of it that no other skater can do. it’s his jump for a reason. the “arms above the head” doesn’t actually make kamila’s 3a more difficult either: kamila uses rippons to control her axis and get the jump around, iffy technique that failed her at beijing

I said this in another comment but in Kamila's case, the rippon arms dont make the jump harder for her. instead, it helps stabilize her axis so she could do the jumps without falling. Plus, rippon arms are not a part of the bulletpoints that you would need to get a good GOE so it should not affect the score as much

I have been studying all of these jums closely with slow motion and i think you are wrong. In not one of these three acels does she underrotate her axels, in fact, out of the three, the one who slightly underrotates them more (still not considered underrotation cause still gets all the revolutions done) is Rika. Also her landings are outside edged from what I can see (correct me if you thin im wrong). It is true that i think she has the most prerotation out of the three, but i also think that she has the most beautiful transitioning out of the axel out of the three and she is the one who makes it look more efortless. I think my favourite jump of hers would be number 2. However Im not able to say If they are better than Rikas or Alionas, Aliona has great height and that gives it a feeling of cleanness i love, and I love the way Rika enters the jump and the way she flips in the air

@@letstalkaboutit3195 I understand. When I was talking about Kamila's underrotations, I specified her ultra c elements, inlcuding her quads. Maybe she really doesn't underrotate on her axels, but I think a lot of that is because of her prerotation. I have also watched plenty of videos, and Kamila does land on an inside edge when she does her ultra c's from time to time. It's like a side effect of poor technique. Kamila has so much potential, but her technique is damaging to her future.

Она с руками к телу не прыгнет, в этом прикол. Она ось выравнивает, как выше написали, потому что даже с такими руками она очень завалена

Сейчас не считается, что риппон (это когда прыжок делается с поднятыми вверх руками) добавляет сложность прыжку. Скорее, наоборот, облегчает выполнение, помогает ось выровнить.

She already lost her triple axel at that Russian competition a month ago she only attempted doubles. I think with the Russian ban and the drug investigation I think the Olympics are going to be the last time we see her in international competition.

@@iamsoverybored878 That russian competition is called „ one channel cup“ and yes you are talking about the axel in the category „ jumps“ but please look at her performance of bolero at the one channel cup. it is a totally different person than at the olympics. maybe she will not take a part of international competitions anymore ( that is in no way the fault of her ), but everybody and every skater knows, if she starts to dance, nobody may win. everybody of this world knows who is the best. and the best is kamila and the other russian skaters
