@@WinstonPoptart Almost everybody in MGS2 lies during CODEC calls, so the Psycho Mantis mask is supposed to read minds and detect lies but that was scrapped.

I love that his lack of self belief is part of the real dialogue. It's like James Bond getting to something new in a mission, throwing his hands up and going, "Welp, if it wasn't in the training modules!"

It's not edited and those lines are actually in the game and can be used by pressing R2 I believe I'm not sure if they are random or not though :)

MGS4 is lame for the reason MGS5 is brilliant. MGS4 is all of the format we expect from the games, concentrated and devoid of experimentation. MGS5 is what happens to players who think they are Snake/Boss. MGS2 is all about self-identity and picking the right thing to fight for.

@@EdgieAlias mgs4 story is fine. It has the thankless task of wrapping up as many plot threads as possible in such a batshit crazy series, and does so about as well as one could reasonably expect. Not great, but fine.
