When Billy’s talking about CRT at the beginning the example they’re missing for “race is socially constructed” is Italians / Irish. If you go back 50-60+ years in the United States, Italian people and especially Italian immigrants were discriminated against and labeled as non-whites, same thing with the Irish. But over time our society has expanded the definition of white to include these groups. Not due to any biological traits, but rather because the populations in America of Italians / Irish were assimilating while also contributing their culture to “white culture”. Especially in America white is not an INCLUSIVE term, rather an EXCLUSIVE term. It’s not about a set list of “white peoples”, rather it’s about who’s NOT white.

Out of curiosity I looked up the coldest temperature while Billy was at Williams College and the coldest it got was -13. Still cold as hell. But -30 come on Bill

billy actually isn't wrong talking about the -30 or -27 degree weather...... with the windchill its anywhere from -15 to -30 when actually below 0 with even the slightest bit of wind...... as we speak right now it says 6 degrees in Chicago but with the 16mph winds it says it feels like -13 if you were actually outside in Chicago right now..... that's what he means

Why was this cut short? I thought Pft said it would be an extra long ep on mlk. I did learn that mlk may have been set up with those women that accused him of being a womanizer and the recordings will show that. Very interesting
