@@aksmex2576 actually Alexander didn't conquer it. They couldn;t force or station armies in every city and many satraps pretty much showed the qeuivalent of the middle finger to Alexander in respect to Darius III, so he never conquered those satrapies. The only locations would be Babylon and the West, but modern day Iran has no evidence whatsoever of any Greek hegemony. I say the resistance worked out well.

@@saeedvazirian Was that before or after Alexander renamed Artacoana to Alexandria Ariana? Also just in case you needed a reminder... con·quer /ˈkäNGkər/ verb overcome and take control of (a place or people) by use of military force. I have Persian ancestry but to say Alexander didn't conquer it sounds as foolish as saying he didn't exist at all.
@saeedvazirian

@@devastabandz Alexander didn't conquer it. He never had control over the Persians lands because the Persians never allowed his rule. Also, pointing out a dictionary description is beyond pedantic. I never denied what conquer stands for and I still stand by my point. Alexander did NOT conquer the Persians. He may have invaded them, but he never successfully conquered them. Maybe it's you who should reevaluate where you're getting your information. Any evidence of this conquet you speak of is propaganda coming from Greco-Roman sources that lives more than 300 years after hsi death. How on Earth is biased hagiography evidence for this?! Alexander never 'renamed' it. It's what he pretended that it should be called, but that name never held in place, especially not by the people. And that, that matters the most.

Cyrus seamed pretty good, but maybe you can correct me. it just seamed overall all his heirs either stagnated or ruined his empire, specifically the last one. Cyrus seamed to have taken over a similar size of what Macedon later took over, in a similar fast amount of time as well.

No the Achaemenid kings were not stagnated at all. Even Darius III severely slowed disrupted Alexander's campaigns that made the Greeks never to recover. I admire the Iranic armies more than the Hellenic. The Hellenics used violence. The Persians used intelligence.

most videos like this use paint to make the frame, and movie maker to put them together, they don't require too crazy a software unless you want really fancy graphics. most of the quality however comes from smoothness of frames (more frames per second) and maybe the original map template's quality (some of these may use photoshop to make but you can probably find a good one online anyways)

Tengrikut Motun that is only one account. Xenophon who also provided us with the Cyropedia mentioned that he died normally and not in a warlike situation. So it's about the source you would like to read. Herodotus has many things wrong so i personally wouldn't believe everything he wrote especially when there is no proof that there even was a battle to begin with or any other sources mentioning the war.
