The racial in retail is definetly trivial, but the one in classic is actually a decent heals over time.

@@gazza7693 its a 20% over 5 seconds that's not trivial in the slightest its one of the most usefull racials because of how many situations it can be used in like say a draenic warrior questing wont have much heals, not like you really need them now, while if you play priest its more or less meh. the one in classic if it truly was just a x amount of damage overtime would be way worse than the modern one especially considering how much longer it wouldve took to get the healing out, which would be 3 times longer plus the cast time. the one in classic doing 1000 health is around 1/6 of the average health pool which is less than what you would get with the modern one which would heal 1/5 of their health. Now with 6k being the average health in wow I wouldnt be suprised to find warriors with 7 or 8k health which means even with an upgraded spell youd have a hard time outperforming the modern spell even with correct gear with all of that in mind and then keep in mind there is no debuff to stop people from using their gift of the naaru one after another you can get a whole hell of a lot more out of the modern one than you can the old one,

@@gazza7693 I play a Draenei priest and prefer healing and no it's not trivial at all, it's a free heal that's instant cast, with the modern "charge and pull everything but don't care about aggro, holding mobs or staying alive" style of tanking a free heal that's instant is very good to keep either the tank, what ever DPS who pulled a mob via AoE or yourself alive long enough to get a stronger heal out. Sure the Heath per second isn't that great for Gift of the Naaru but it's role is to supplement your heals not replace them.

Heroic Presence wasn't helpful for the group in Mists of Pandaria or WoD. Unless Challenge Mode era doesn't mean the expansions in which Challenge Mode existed.

Well in classic for taurens it automatically lets you get earthroots(they have a plus 15 to herbalism passive) so I imagine the +10 to jewel crafting would allow you to be able to cut gems that would require 10 jewel crafting as soon as you took the profession instead of having to level it to 10 Tl:dr free levels

valid question - however, KT humans are vastly different from regular humans, racials included for example: their skeleton/rig as well as animations are entirely new that they could easily pass as a regular race, instead of an allied one. The devs said they haven't put so much effort in a race ever since MoP was in development

Mages too. Warriors have victory rush which is good for in-combat healing (as gift is used like that too) but mages don't have any spells for in-combat regen afaik

@@spookyplaguedoctor5714 does victory rush come in TBC or Wrath? I know for blood elves, any class that uses mana benefits heavily from their mana steal/silence racial. So I'm thinking I might choose a blood elf Mage or a warlock.

@@alexanderrahl7034 I thought victory rush was added in Vanilla. And yeah, go for a blood elf caster class since before BfA their arcane torrent and mana tap were both really good.

@@spookyplaguedoctor5714 nah, victory rush wasn't a vanilla thing. Not that I knew of. It probably came in with Wrath when each class started becoming more self reliant. By now every class has a healing spell
