Macho Man died May 20th, 2011, right in the middle of graduation season. As a tribute to the death of this national treasure almost all colleges and high schools in the United States now play his theme during their graduation ceremonies.

Fire Pro Wrestling World is easily one of the best wrestling games of all time for me, possibly the best . WWE 2k22 really doesnt compare to it for as simulating matches and customization. the only thing WWE 2k22 has over it is online gameplay lobbies

@@PatmanQC-Arcade-Documentaries , you know, to be fair, Fire Pro Wrestling M was onto something, but, due to Mobage being such a limited platform, it honestly did not get the love, or improvements, that it needed, and the features of that game would have honestly been a good fit for Fire Pro Wrestling World. I would have used it in that sort of Tamagotchi style (yes, I had one of those things in high school back in the day, and they are making them come back to the modern era as well, surprisingly enough, and, yes, they are also in the USA as well), but to have combined it with the Story Mode of a Fire Pro Wrestling game. The set up would be like this...the story would unfold before a match, then a person could get their training done in a combination of how Tamagotchi games worked, as well as how the Malibu Interactive boxing games worked from back in the day, as well as how EA and its Fight Night boxing games worked, like a combination of all of those things that you can use to train for exercises, diets, and such for your wrestler, as well as for the exercises that you can have them do, as well as the moves that you can teach them, much like you learn how to master a move in Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, but somewhat easier than that game did those things, then there would be the match, some more dialogue, more training, maybe some more dialogue, then some more training, then another match, so, on, ans so forth, and it could also be that way for all of the titles that could be in the game. Also, I think that the Xbox One and Xbox Series X, as well as PS5, Switch, and Mac, platforms also deserve Fire Pro Wrestling World ports as well. What do you think about my ideas that I have been leaving on your videos? Please let me know by replying to them, okay? Thank you.

Omg I KNEW it was Lanny's voice!!! He is a great guy in real life and would do anything to help out with a voice over, that is so him!! You are so lucky to have had the privilege and pleasure of talking to him, Pat! He is a wrestling legend who brought a lot to the ring and started the high flying finishers such as his which is still used today by many wrestlers, though no one can do it as good as "The Genius" of course! That picture looked to be from the ICW days, too if I'm not mistaken? The Miser (aka, Angelo Poffo) started that in around 78 - 84 or thereabouts, and held the National NWA Tag Team Championship Titles with his on son, Leaping Lanny Poffo! His dad looked exactly like he and Randy, too, from face to physique!

SAME. I got 12 seconds in and stopped to write the comment *"Your Randy Savage impression sounds EXACTLY like Lanny Poffo doing a Randy Savage impression."* Of course immediately after this I saw it wasn't Pat and removed the comment. Thanks so much for doing these and bringing more shine to the best Wrestling Game Franchise in the world. I was lucky enough to live in an area of the country with a large Japanese and Asian population so there was a Japanese gaming import place only 1.5 mile from my house that I walked to regularly. They sold me on modding a first generation Playstation and getting NJPW TR 3 and Fire Pro G. I was hooked on the series and Japanese gaming ever since.

Fire Pro Wrestling Returns ended up being the one I spent the most time with. Literally hundreds of hours making 100% accurate CAWs of various wrestling Legends, as well as the guys from the local independent circuit that I was breaking into around that time. It took forever getting everybody just right, but to finally put it all to use made it totally worth it. That game is a masterpiece.

Fire Pro Wrestling is the gold standard for wrestling games. That game brings back so many memories of playing it with my twin brother and my late older brother who passed away in 2019. We would go down to our basement (Our official gaming area) and play for hours on end. Thanks for making this three-part video, Patman. Outstanding job!!!! What a great series, Pat! You paid respect to a legendary franchise. I hope more people will try it out. Sure, there’s a learning curve, but have those complaining tried to play Madden or NBA 2K lately? Any established franchise has its own style you need to assimilate. For this series,it’s definitely worth the work. And cheers for your hard work! Or, as they say in Japanese: Otsukaresama deshita! Thank you for these 3 videos on the history of Fire Pro. I am totally a Johnny-Come-Lately to Fire Pro, I had a vague knowledge about Fire Pro for years, because of video game console emulation websites, but had never so much as tried to play one until I saw how much fun Fire Pro Wrestling World looked in Twitch streams. Now, I play Fire Pro Wrestling World multiple times a week, and even participate in a user-interactive FPWW eFed, Wrestling Cup Classic (WCC). This game has made me realize that for all of the graphics WWE games have, despite being a WWF/WWE fan my entire life (I'm 47, and I go back to when Hogan won the title from the Sheik), I'd rather play Fire Pro than any WWE 2K.

Great video as always PatMan. I'm just furious the worst game ever in the franchise is the only one for my primary gaming platform (FPW on Xbox 360) so far. I know that Xbox has gotten several visual novel-style games from Spike Chunsoft in the last year like AI The Somnium Files, Zero Escape, and frickin' Danganronpa. These are regarded as very niche games like with most Japanese RPGs, so this gives me hope if we ever see a new Fire Pro Wrestling game like FPW World, it'll go on all platforms beyond PC and Playstation, and hopefully Xbox and Switch! It's the best wrestling franchise today, and the more people playing it, the better!

@@PatmanQC-Arcade-Documentaries Mainly due to the lack of success Xbox has had selling in Japan where Spike Chunsoft are based, especially during the Xbox One generation where Don Mattrick almost killed the platform altogether. His successor Phil Spencer has since made a major 180 degree turnaround, and the Xbox Series consoles have already outsold its predecessor for its entire lifecycle in Japan, at 200,000+ units and counting, set to finish just below or at the 1.5 million sales of the 360 in the country when all is said and done. Phil's also been able to bring previously PlayStation exclusive IPs from Japanese devs and publishers to Xbox like Yakuza and Kingdom Hearts, though still missing on other big-name franchises for the time being like Persona and of course FPW. I have hope that will change soon!

But I love pro wrestling and everything that comes with it , and I love a lot of the grappler games that have come through the years I’m currently enjoying WWE 2K23 , but Fire pro is special and specifically fire pro world , the only thing I don’t like is the downloading created grapplers process and rings and stuff you have to download separate parts and stuff but that is all , it’s very special game

I'm on the very weird side when it comes to Fire Pro Wrestling. I was never a big fan of simulation sports games and once I played World, I just couldn't get into it. Then I saw the one for 360 and decided to buy that one, thinking it was gonna be more arcadey compared to World and I really enjoyed that game a lot. It is unfortunate that I have come to realize that it is considered, by many, to be the worst game in the series because the gameplay is a lot mote accessible and solid. I decided to tey some others and I find myself back to the 360 one because it's just more fun for me. Maybe if it was called XBLA Wrestling, it probably wouldn't have gotten much hate, but I still really love this game.

The advancement is pretty obvious, especially given how this guy did a retrospective on the entire series. If you're only interested in graphics, you can go play one of the 3d WWE games; too many gamers nowadays put visuals as the most important factor in games. It would explain why game quality has fallen so considerably.
