The scene where Ryan takes a bullet for Sam and nearly dies is such a great scene. It's what I'd do with my former friends. I haven't talked to them in over two months, and they don't want to talk to me, but if it came down to it, I'd take a bullet for them. You can't pick your family, but you can pick your friends, and if you meet good ones, you understand what it means to care about others. If my taking a bullet meant for them meant they'd be okay, I'd do it in a heartbeat. You never forget those who helped you get better.

Love this film. I'm generally not one for a lot of cursing, but I find it hilarious in this and it's the unedited version I prefer to watch...repeatedly. Lol, too bad they cut some of Salma Hayek's lines @ 3:53 in this clip, because it's her off camera ones that had me lmao the most for some reason. Don't know why, but the delivery of them just got to me.

Selma plays an amazing Latina. One moment, irritated and wanting you be left alone. Next moment, swearing endlessly in Spanish regardless of who they're talking to.
