Spent the day out on the reef off Mackay with Pete, his wife Jade and his workmate Brad in glamour conditions with ridiculously good fishing to boot!!
Heaps of quality fish boated and I catch my personal best Red emperor on slow pitch along with another smaller but still really nice specimen.
Watch the little pe3 Slow element rod get folded on these and a variety of other tasty morsels (and some not so tasty), all caught fishing the same ZETS 100g Slow Blatt R with a single set of 3XL BKK Sea Ranger assists for the whole day.. Got my money’s worth with this jig!!
We stopped on the way home for a swim and fished fly for a sneaky trout on the flats.
