THE HORRORS NEW VIDEO !!!!!!!!
New song and video broadcasted in their official website in March 17th, from their new album Primary Colours.
Enjoy it ;)
______________________________________
Edit: Wooooww I just saw this song in a lot of lists from the best tracks of 2009 (like NME's, who gave it the 2nd place), and Primary Colours was chosen Album Of The Year. When I uploaded this I never thought it was going to be recognized this much...

@MichaelIreroa
@MichaelIreroa 10 жыл бұрын
Ugh, you're so full of shit. I actually went to the video for the Cluster song expecting to be surprised, and other than having synths (drab on that track), they sound nothing alike. This cooler than thou posturing will be the death of the human race.
@MarsHottentot
@MarsHottentot 10 жыл бұрын
***** To each his own, Michael. I'm not the only one who hears it - I'm also willing to bet Horrors would acknowledge the debt. And if "Hollywood" sounds 'drab' to you, well, keep ion mind it's because the track was made - IN 1973. Progenitors rarely get the benefit of big production budgets. Have a tissue, dry those eyes - see? My comment didn't make the song disappear.
@lndnflms484
@lndnflms484 10 жыл бұрын
MarsHottentot I am not hearing it either. Arguably there is a mood in the Cluster track which is shared. Whatever, i think the Horrors take that mood somewhere else completely.
@MarsHottentot
@MarsHottentot 10 жыл бұрын
R Rowley I'll agree with that, but I still think the epic end that everyone lauds them for gets most of it's heft from "Hollywood". Again, unlike a lot of bands who appropriate others ideas into their own, Horrors have always been pretty open about their sonic debts. I don't think they'd disagree with my point. I guess I'm more upset with how little most "music enthusiasts" actually know about what they claim to love so much - particularly in the internet age where it's been made so fucking easy to learn about. Or maybe I'm still just irked Horrors ditched their "Mutant Garage" sound!

Nobody can tell you you're wrong if you don't like it but you can't say its not The Horrors because this is clearly the direction they wanted to take it in. Don't worry about them not going "mental" they will still play a few of the older songs at live dates and it will be just as manic as everyone remembers.

Wasn't sure about these guys at first, then a friend played primary colours and I was really impressed as it blew me away. I know they've borrowed from others but they still sound really fresh and that simple pounding rythme is so affective, that synth sound at the end does sound like Portishead (3), but hey still great, good to see band are taking references from further afield.

It's funny you say that - I immediately thought of Portishead at the point in Sea Within A Sea when the synth pervades. Sounds just like "The Rip" and the start of the video ( the long beep ) echoes "Magic Doors" -- I enjoy this sound much more than their old sound. Beautifully done.

this song's lots of views:you can clearly see the similitudes with joydivision music,everybody knows how they love ian curtis compositions-they use to start their live shows with NO LOVE LOST cover-but this song's more as it progress,there's a keyboard sound that will remind you to the who's "baba o'riley"..but that sound also has an electronic progress that clearly could be an 80's or 90's string... Interesting tune, new mixtures for this band, i like that progression Thanks for uploading
