Imām Abul-Mudhdhaffar as-Sam'ānī [rahimahullāh] said: „The people of the Sunnah say: „The foundation of the religion is Following [al-Ittibā'] and the intellect is subserviant to that.“ Because if the foundation of the religion was the intellect, then the creation would have been in no need of revelation, or of Prophets, and the meaning of orders and prohibitions would have been wrong, and whoever wanted, would have said whatever he wanted.“ Siehe al-Hujjah [85/Alif]
