Why nobody mentions that 42mm does not gave built in speaker to make calls, when 46mm does? It's missing couple of great options, but it is being presented as 46 and 42 are the same watch, just different size.

Design, display, even stress tracker and other features. All in!! This is the one that I'm looking for.

But how do you make split times? The most basic function of a watch, besides displaying time. I cant figure it out. The Huawei support could not figure this out either. Please help. On the phone you can do this in the basic clock function (not in the health app)

My watch gt2 stopped recieving WhatsApp call notification anymore. I used too get my WhatsApp call directly to my watch gt2. Now suddenly stopped working. However I tried connecting to iPhone it works fine. Only it's not working if I connected to any Android phone. I did all reset options, both on phone and Watch GT2 ..Any idea? How to fix.

In Australia the gt2 is cheaper than the Bluetooth version of the active 2 44 mm from Samsung. I just think the active 2 might be better. I'm not a fitness but but will use. I like the smart watch side of it.

Love this watch but I feel like the Huawei os need some polish, because navigate to the apps, it feel abit stutter compare to amazefit os. Also they should get more watch face. The other stuff is screen is incredible big and good.

The Huawei mobile services app needed tot get the Huawei Health app running on the Google play store is outdated and Will NOT make your GT2 work on the Xiaomi mi 9t pro. It Will work if you get the updated mobile services app directly from the Huawei site.

i feel like a boomer sayin this but imma say it anyway, a basic watch can last years, imagine u forgot to charge the smart watch. while with a normal watch u dont need to worry about chargin it, makin it reliable. these smart watches does the same thing as phones, it would be redundant to hav a watch that does the same thing as a phone. plus how hard is it to pull ur phone out of pocket and use it, and a basic watch is far cheaper, say if the battery of the basic watch does die after years, u can either buy another watch or another battery, plus the battery cost for a basic watch is cheap too................................imma get so much hate for this but oh well it is wat it is

Can you reply to notification? NO Can you insert your simcard and use it as a phone ? N0 When will they create a smartwatch with a real deal??? A watch that takes pic , takes simcard inside, solar power charger?

I have the GT2 for about 2 months now. It's a major disappointment. And this is me coming from a Xiaomi Mi Band 4. Here are a few things WHY: * When receiving messages / notifications from my phone to the app, a noticeable delay of 1s is apparent before it shows on screen. This is unacceptable as my Xiaomi Mi Band 4 is way faster by less. * When you enable AOD, most of the time it does not switch to the notification but just vibrates. If I get lucky, it does switch when it responds to the raise to wake feature. * Enabling AOD disables the raise to wake feature to show your main watchface. It just increases the brightness. * Syncing Spotify to the watch does not transfer the audio to it. You can only control it from there. This then also makes the bluetooth earbuds useless for that purpose, unless you switch to its downloaded music instead. * There is no way to manually measure your heart rate. You simply just have to enable continuous HR tracking. In contrast, my Mi Band 4 allows you to do both. * It doesn't have a water mode. Unless you turn the pool swimming on, it will accidentally react to unwanted navigation depending on how water hits the screen. * The watchface does not have a custom mode where you can customize the information on some of your watchfaces. The $150 Amazfit GTS can do this!

But the OS is so laggyyyy. I had the chance to compare it with the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 and the latter is snappier over all. :---(

Ignore the fitness feature or the sleep tracker or even the stress test. If you’re serious about using a smart watch, these features are useless. Not to mention laggy and restrictive in terms of other functionality. Not user friendly and very finicky. If you own an iPhone, the Apple Watch series 3 is already a million times better in every aspect.
