Defense Medical Services SIG Meeting, January 2024
Allied Health Professional Helen Mason joined us, who will explore the background to the In Silent Service Project and the creation of the first Royal Naval Mermaid Postal service for submarines set up with funding from Greenwich Hospital. Helen will reflect on the complexities of working across NHS, Departments of Community Mental Health Services (DCMH) and charitable sectors and open the meeting up to reflect and discuss.
The session will conclude with a call to action, a pledge to support those in our community with the most need and whose voices are often silent.
