"When I'm really busy and I've got ... 50 people waiting ... if somebody them comes in with four problems in my ten-minute slot I might see one and fix it and then I'll send them off for investigations for those other three because I'm buying time, but actually for a system is running hot, and when you are stressed, you then further perpetuate the demand because you haven't got time to sort things out properly and there comes a point when you have to sort of go Stop! we need longer we need to pause and we need to do this all in one."

In answer to one points, smartphones can now be desktops and laptops (just add USB-C monitors or USB-C docks), therby enabling more expensive and power hungry devices to be reduced by something consuming 25% or less of the power of a Windows PC including monitor, peripherals and smartphone itself (0.35 kWh per day). Tjis is consistent with NHS Digitals' Sustainable Architectural Principles.

I cried when Peter Homa left Nottingham University Hospital. Felt a plonker if I am honest as I cried in front of the great man himself (and I try not to do crying in the work place if I can help it). He was a wonderful CEO to work with who truly bothered to understand what problems existed in the organisation and sought to bring everyone together to solve it. Having been in the territorial army I agree with the value of cross over between the two organisations.

Dido thinks the NHS has come a long way! 10 years of mismanagement and underfunding seems to have been whitewashed out of the conversation.

Roy - Kings Fund, plans to restructure Public Health could cause significant collateral damage - Michael Brodie, Finance and Commercial Director for PHE working with Dido. Emphasis put on public behaviour for Covid success - not the success of test and trace. Recorded in August. Dido wants to believe in Public Sprited British Public.

Health inequalities touched on - Dido acknowledged Public Health not enough investment BUT no mention of Austerity impact and cuts to Public Health departments and moves to LA out of NHS following 2012 act. Dido talking as though Covid has revealed inequalities - we have known this for years Covid just amplified.

Moving on to supply chains - Dido PPE should not be part of Public Health protection? Dido acknowledging diagnostics fragility & Roy Lilley touched on imports - NO MENTION OF BREXIT IMPACT.

Dido moved from COMPETITION to COLLABORATION as descriptive terms and a 'vision' for the new 'Health Protection' - no idea what that will look like. Roy Lilley moved onto future of Public Health, NO MENTION OF MARMOT, Dido only just learnt via Covid - doesn't know the answers re Public Health functions.

23 mins in Pandemic Response failure acknowledged to be a casualty of disasterous 2012 Health and Social Care act, NHS Lansleys reorganisation under Camerons Government. No mention of destruction of Strategic Health Authorities and their vital work as regional NHS structures in 2012.

Dido says they have built a combined national and local service with local Public Health services according to Dido - tiers 1,2 & 3 about 15 mins in, shambolic. Local public health services not funded the money, all £12 billion, went to Serco.

Dido Harding completely unsuitable in this role - we find out she is a volunteer and temporary during the critical time of getting 'test and trace' up and running.

Dido, like any normal person, is uncomfortable with questions that uncover something secret or sinister. That’s was the McKinsey questions.
