I look at it more like : don’t buy into the social norms of modern toxic society and ironically become even more toxic. I say this as a fairly attractive male. Were living in different times now. With all the pettiness and backbiting of modern society I personally don’t know how’d I’d get by without letting people know that I’m not all for show physically speaking. Even then people will try to socially isolate just because they’re afraid of what they know you are capable of doing to them.

You should man. Yer a handsome guy, obviously not a bad dude, and someone who's relatively in touch with yourself and the world around you, and feels compassion and empathy for others. Probably very much so in ways. There are definitely others out there who feel the same way that you're meant to be close with. It can just be extra hard these days to find one another. People don't live in communities anymore in the western world. Our nieghbors are usually all strangers. We may be more connected then ever through the internet in ways, but we're also so much more cut off from one another than anytime in history. But--things can & will get better, brother. Sometimes just takes long time. But you'll be alright--youre clearly a relatable, good guy, who will connect with the right one(s) when they come along. And they will. But Tom Petty was right: The "waiting is the hardest part." But it does happen. Just hang in there, my man. Things may seem like they just fall apart by nature so often--but things also find a way to eventually work out too. If you don't give up hope. Try to remind yourself sometimes: You deserve good things in your life. And they're trying to find you too. Maybe not exactly how you plan or hope for, but you will eventually come together. Take care bro✌️

@@joaogomes9405 Well his appearance is subjective, some women do like big, hairy or even objectively ugly dudes I've seen the couples. But some guys look decent objectively and aren't dangerous or criminal, they just don't have any charm due to depression or something similar (I know). It isn't the personality he has, it's how he expresses it or fails to express it that sucks. We ultimately can't change our personalities at will, only the expression of it. I've met some truly disgusting individuals that girls flock to anyway simply because they express their disgustingness in an attractive way. They are blatant criminals, abusive or openly violent at will, but that's attractive to some women when expressed the right way for whatever reason. Just look at certain celebrities and such. But that didn't really matter for Jake, being generally unattractive for whatever reason applies to a lot of guys (I know). His main mistake was cashing his chips in at 22. I notice that with these guys that do this kind of thing. They give up way too soon. The male instinct does not cope with that well. The truth is that if they were able to just hang on until age 25, their minds would cope with it better. One of two things will happen by then, you will either through sheer statistical chance meet at least one person who will be interested in you at least physically at least once. Or you will be able to accept the situation and move on with the rest of your life. Or some combination of both like me. Until age 25 your brain is going to demand you find a mate, line up a path to a potential one or basically die trying. It will escalate the level of priority on it the worse you evaluate your chances, thus stressing you out about it more. You gotta convince it you'll figure it out for long enough to make to the other side of 25 to maintain your sanity. Past that point you'll most likely not care anymore. Sorry this was long.

For real. My brother was JUST like this as a teenager. He was a fat unstable self loathing incel and would have blowups constantly about “not being able to get laid”. He thought having sex would solve all his problems. It was exhausting. Finally in his late teens he got into shape, more than that actually, he got absolutely ripped. Looks wise he became what the incel community considers a “Chad”. He lost his virginity at 21 or 22-ish and from there on out started having sex constantly. He became an actor too and is in a popular show that I’m not going to name because then people will figure out who he is. He has a girlfriend now but they are in an open relationship, so he still sleeps around a lot. Girls throw themselves at him because he’s tall and ripped and an “actor”. He got everything he thought he needed to be “happy” but he is just as mentally unstable now as he was before and continues to get worse. Instead of blaming his problems on a lack of sex he just blames other things now. Before anyone says anything, yes our family has gotten him mental health help but nothing seems to work.

The real issue here is obviously the lack of service for those who are suffering from a mental illness. It cost the life of many innocent people. I can't imagine being that father and his little girl. I think it can happen everywhere. To go out and shoot innocent people you have to be very unwell. I don't know if his mother could have done something for him to get help before it happened. I don't know if she was aware of her son's mental state and how far gone he was. I do not give ppl attention and am very individualistic, and from what I've seen dating lots of women need attention, that is something I cannot give. I often feel social interaction is pointless for me unless I need something, I'm not very emotional and don't relate well to others. So speaking is more so a tool than anything emotional.

It gets really lonely, sometimes upsetting, I sometimes feel jealous, but I would never even think of anything like these men committed. But maybe if I spent all my time in the echo chambers of these online communities, who knows how my perspective would change, or what I might be brainwashed into thinking. It's easier to invent one reason for failure or rejection than admit to yourself that perhaps a fair bit of work is needed on your personality. Yes, his sense of entitlement and that frequently expressed by MGTOW members is disturbing. No woman is _obligated_ to do much of what men expect. I watch men attempt to pick up women in pubs or even in a café. If the woman is just there to have a few drinks with her friend, or read a book in peace at the café, why is she expected to have a conversation with any man who approaches her? Some of them using lines they believe are super clever or "sure-fire bird pullers". Guess what, fellas? They're not. Women tend to be polite in not wanting to engage in a convo, and as most of them have been hit on far more often than they want, they've learned how to be both civil and firm in their desire to be left alone. Yet men too frequently are surprised & _offended_ she's not interested in chatting or flirting. So many act as if the woman is obliged at least to talk to them. Who says? What social convention states such a rule? A fair few are stubborn, confident their manner or rehearsed approach will win the woman over if they just keep at them. You can hear frustration in their voice, often heir words. There is a tangible sense the woman _owes_ the man some interaction. When they don't get it, they're angry. How can you grow angry from a woman asserting her rights to not be bothered? Then there's Jake bitching away online, how it's had to find a female with big boobs. Jake, you charmer! Classifying a woman's worth by cup size! You honey dripper, I can't see how you failed to leave a pub every Friday night with a hot bird on each arm....

Because he asks them on dates right away, he pays for the dates, and he doesn't ask for anything from them. He is open and honest that he is only looking for something casual. It is his generosity, and the fact that he treats women like people and let's them choose to like him that makes him so popular with women. And no, he doesn't have a six pack. I thinks it’s to some level some kind of societal influence. A lot of “attractive” men on TV aren’t chubby, and are usually muscular or lean. I think Jake hated himself and really internalized the thought that he wasn’t mainstream attractive. This created some really bad chemistry with his underlying anger issues. I really think all of this could’ve gone differently of he had talked to a psychologist and received some kind of treatment for his mental health.

Well tbh sexual frustration has destroyed and founded kingdoms throughout history. We have only to look at the Viking invasions, that according to some historians were partly caused by the unavailability of women in Scandinavia for large segments of the male population, that's usually a problem in polygamous societies where only a small fraction of the male population has access to most of the women. So in a way incels have been a driving force in history, which is kind of funny but also terrifying.

Im from Plymouth and i am Autistic and when this story was unfolding it was really sad. I felt that it was another bad image for autistic people in society as well as a horrible waste of human lives at the hands of someone who was so unable to get a grip of his own struggles. Many autistic people struggle with dating and relationships. Im 32 and have never been in a relationship despite wanting one since i was about 17. Its a shame when people like the person in this video let the reality of their circumstances be hidden or ignor them entirely. He should have got assistance that is available for dating on the autistic spectrum. Its no good trying to date while ignoring the fact you are not like other people. You have to at least try hard. I dated 15 times over the last 13 years and no luck, but you have to learn to accept being alone being autistic, most people will not understand what you need, its just how it is, and its not anyone elses fault. Getting violent is the most negative route to take, even if being alone makes you angry, which it does for many autistic people.

I'd say his parents pretty well failed him as a son...single mother in poverty, addicted father...I do not place direct blame for the killing spree on them, but they were bad parents who may have loved him, but taught him nothing about relationships or normal male behavior...and the violence was most likely, according to all studies, something he was taught by one of them. Single mothers are the most abusive type of parent...single fathers and two parent families are so much better, they have the same rate of their children going to prison, whereas single mothers are so much more violent and poor, their kids have far higher rates of incarceration. I feel bad for her losing her life...but they sucked as parents. You have to pick better when making, ladies and gentlemen. 40% of men want kids and can't find a woman to give them kids...the 40% having kids with women are shared on average 2 to 1 by those women (two baby mothers per father). Those fathers have nearly a 50% higher rate of mental illness than the 40% who can't have kids, but want them. Think of every single mother you know who had kids with a drug addict, woman beater, or cheater...and how many nice guys you know who don't get laid regularly, because they don't make enough money, essentially. Skip looks...men and women all judge by looks...so that's even as a variable. Just look at how women keep having sex, and therefore kids, with horrible men...while a lot nicer guys sit in the friend zone. Sometimes there isn't even a financial difference between the men. I know tons of women who have their single motherhood to blame on themselves, for picking men who already had kids, didn't pay for them, and were known to be addicts and/or women beaters, and/or cheaters. I mean, when the man you chose to have kids with had nothing but red flags, and you friend zoned half a dozen better alternatives, then who do you have to blame but him and yourself? And you think they feel bad? Or need sympathy? What about the men who were passed over, never reproduce, and end up genetic dead ends, with no one blood related to leave their savings too when they die? They work to leave it all to someone else's kids! So, you can see why they give up...self delete, etc. Bad parents...now no love relationships either...no one blames their parents...everyone only blames them. Well, they are responsible for the actions of the killings....but the parents are responsible for increasing the odds he wouldn't ever have a happy life.

I was genuinely in such a bad state and it would have been worse if I hadn't got help when I did.. I blame our government for a large part, they're bleeding the NHS dry.. the actual best thing about our country is being destroyed by millionaires who don't use or need it. Much love to everyone here! If you are suffering, my best advice is to talk about it, to anyone who'll listen, because regardless what you think, people do care, also writing it down helps me quite a lot, although a lot of the time I don't know how or what I feel. You are right about reinforcing behavior that doesn't serve us. Abnormal becomes normal at a subconscious level. Then we seek it out. That's why people don't leave abusive relationships and gravitate towards the very same situation when they do. That's why you can't change people. They have to change their programming and work hard at it. A pitiful, painful life that we know is less frightening than one we don't know.

It's very telling that when he talks about his love for the Terminator movies, and about how the movies are about humanity persevering through seemingly unwinnable circumstances against the machines, that he doesn't view himself as the hero struggling optimistically against impossible odds, but as the machine that brings doom and destruction and cannot be deterred from its path. He had given up on hope for a better future for himself, and just wanted to be the force that brings doom upon people as revenge for the way things turned out. Evil man.

Anybody could have ended up in his situation. A good example of this is how widely accepted army enlistment is. If you are enlisted for the army you are guaranteed to kill, and the vast majority of men would acceptably enlist if asked to. It is stupid how many men and women think they're so self-righteous that they will forget what immoral beliefs they hold themselves. What this killer did is evil, but it takes a simple push to turn anyone into what he had become. We must have empathy for people like him, like you said - not because of what he did, but because he is human and regardless of his actions deserves forgiveness in the end.
