That stream in the woods has been there for well over 40 years, it dries out in the summer. There is also a pond next to the ice house a little further along in the woods.

The concrete eats into creosote posts..I'd recommend putting a bag around them. Concrete still holds them but you won't get chemical reaction

I use a Metal Detector when looking for lost roadside gullies and lost Manholes in the verges ! Works well unless the Manholes have a stone flag as a lid 😢

Hi Ollie if you had to buy those granite sets from a reclaimed yard you would be shocked how much they change for each one . There is a company called carwarden in Rugeley staffs who buy a lot of reclaimed stuff and I believe they have there own teams dig them up and clean them it may be worth giving them a call there yard is full of old bricks,tiles, slates and everything reclaimed hope this helps

@jimginn7163 was spot on identifying the aircraft as an Airbus A400m RAF Transport Command. The other day one flew an exercise making several low level circuits up and down the Mersey estuary at heights as low as 450ft. They have even practiced beach landings and take offs in Wales👌.
