I have a small theory that Zakuul got absorbed into the Republic and that the Knights of Zakuul were eventually compelled to join the Jedi Order to become the Temple Guards (they look similar enough).

The problem with that viewpoint is that this isn't just a disagreement over religious dogma. The Force is a real, tangible thing that can cause suffering on an unimaginable scale. The Sith seek to use it in such a way, merely for their own personal gain. I'm not going to pretend that the Jedi are perfect, but the Sith are the exact opposite of victims.

By "I disagree", them Jedi Knights meant that they wanted to use the Force to twist life forms into vicious monstrosities that fed on an entire planet's population. Doesn't sound so reasonable now, does it?

@@robertnelson9599 Depends on the generation of Jedi, really. Luke's Order is my preferred incarnation because it embraces all of the Force and isn't as smug and restrictive as the old Order. I'd also like to say that this was a rare instance where the Jedi and the Sith weren't that different from each other, morally speaking.

Yea Vitiate most likely looked at some writing of the Star Forge but the Rakata were the ones that made the Star Forge, the first users of the darkside and rulers of the infinite empire.

And the time gap between these deities and Rakatans using the dark side could literally be a million or more years apart.

@@marcusarnold9175 nah, if I have to sum up The Celestials in the Star Wars universe(s) then I'd say they're basically angels from Gnostic texts with fewer power restrictions; more free will. Each is kinda there own God though they usually stick together in a family groups and create galaxies. After that they just observe the cosmos and the civilizations they seeded across the universe. Sometimes they interact with mortals but if their creations get rowdy and murdery they dip quick af. And beyond that, their own Creator observes their doings and that of reality as a whole. Pretty sure from this unpublished EU novel called "Supernatural Encounters" it said that The Force is kinda like the tangible Holy Spirit of the Star Wars God. Take that with a nice ounce of salt because I ain't read the novel in a bit (2 years) and it's currently being the revised, expanded, and given some new illustrations.

His whole big move in his last battle was an attempt to seem so ruthless that there would be no way they'd use him, but the true nature of the "game" caused it to backfire horribly. This, it wasn't a Jedi purge, it was the Republic. The Jedi tried to find alternatives to deal with the Sith, like cutting them off their connection from the force which they saw as preferable to genocide, they also focused more on destroying Sith artifacts over the Sith themselves. Still, the Sith themselves don't really see a difference between the two in the issue, both are just as equally guilty in their eyes

Most people ignored this and if you bring it up they will just continue to just blame the Jedi. When ever I brought up all the terrible things the Sith did during the war like destroying mutiple Star Sytem and in turn destroying or devastating the surrounding planets and thing living on them, people will continue to ignore it and just blame the Jedi.

@@Underworlddream yes, I have seen people try and twist it to always blame the Jedi, but the Sith were brutal and imperialistic before the Dark Jedi Exiles ever arrived in their space, all they did was refine the Sith into an Empire that could endure. They also launched in unprovoked invasion on the Republic which they lost. This always started with the Sith, both the Dark Jedi exiles and the species.
