All the peope you have mentioned have literally signed major label deals. These aren't independent artists. They lost because their music wasn't the biggest or best songs that got nominated. Because you can't tell me what year J.Cole or Nicki deserved a Grammy over Drake, Kendrick, Kanye, Jay-Z and other who heat them to it.

Nicki is a prime example because she has owned her masters to her work for awhile now and she also receives majority income of her music. Latto labels owns her music so her label is putting more $ into her music to keep it charted longer. In reality if Nicki had the same type of deal as Latto or Cardi she would have a bigger push,more support and definitely awards already.
