I like it when characters end up in situations where there trapped in a corner and characters have to find inventive/new ways to defeat the villian. This reminds me of the storyline there doing for dragon ball super manga and for the character moro.

Regarding that suit I see 2 possibilities it was made by the Joker after the takeover for a suit on suit battle (or even a suited joker vs unsuited Bruce in order to further the whole "he took everything that you had from you" deal) But it looks pretty normal for it to be for the Joker plus now that Lucius is being at least partially controlled by the Joker he would know about it, here he says he thought Bruce himself made the suit since he didnt know about it (I guess he could be forced to lie by the toxin but he doesn't seem to be that under control yet) The other possibility (which I like more) I'm guessing that suit was somehow prepared by Alfred years ago and meant to be deployed in the event of his death, maybe it took years and years for Alfred to secretly make it since he doesn't have the same skills as Lucius or Bruce but over Batman's whole career he archived info from all his fights and compiled that into an all purpose super suit that probably only Bruce himself can wear and that would be why nobody has touched it yet I could even see Alfred leaving Bruce a video message from when he was making the suit (something like the Dr Light capsules in Megaman X lol) that plays as soon as Bruce puts it on and then Alfred does a sort of "if you are watching this that means I am dead" explaining that he knew that if he were to die that would probably be because that the situation has become quite dire since that would mean the villains have managed close enough to Bruce and put everyone in danger so he made that suit in an attempt to give Batman an edge and gain back the upper hand something like that lol

It started with a bang! I loved it, the art by Jiminez was fantastic (as usual). I got my copy yesterday and have read it. But somehow, your narration makes it even better. I have a feeling that by the time this Joker war us done, Batman would be much darker and might have to cross THAT line this time.

Oh boy. This seems like this will be a great story, and may become as influential as something like the killing joke or dark knight. I know I may he annoying you every video, but I would love a History of Bane or Doctor Doom. Some of my absolute favorite villians of all time, and they both have great stories.

Joker War sounds awesome.

I find it hard to get into Batman and Joker's stories now with all the multiversal chaos going on with the Batman Who Laughs. It's like they've already done the most insane thing they could come up with and everything else doesn't seem to matter. Also this "war" could easily be solved by calling in Superman or Flash to blitz everyone out.

The Flashback scene is referencing Brubaker "The Man who laughs" which is the first Batman/Joker encounter, at least the one considered cannonical, is a little different from the 1945 Batman #1 Jokers debut but in theory that because of the first reboot of the DC Universe fruit of the first Crisis. Apart from these two there are other retales of Batman/ Joker first battle but I suppose since this is the one being referenced so many times (Death in the Family for example) I'm gonna guess "The Man who laughs" is indeed the new cannonical joker debut in lore.
