The box is monumental to me. From start to finish. The sheer amount of excellent electronic music coming out of the UK in the 90s still amazes me to this day.

Funny! My favourite from that album is definitely "Adnans". IVery cool album, but my favourite remains "The Middle of Nowhere", especially "Nothing Left 1&2"

@@jippalippa Very much in agreement with your track choices there! Absolutely LOVE Adnan’s, although my fave track often varies - ‘InSides’ was my first Orbital purchase (when it released in 1996) but I was into other stuff at the time, and so I didn’t get into it immediately. It wasn’t until I saw the boys perform live in March 1999 (just prior to TMON’s release) that I finally truly *got* what Orbital were about: suffice to say my mind was truly blown. Once I bought ‘Middle Of Nowhere’ I was basically re-living that first gig! Revisited their 1996 LP and saw it in a wholly (or ‘holy’) new light.

I'll never forget the magic of seeing Orbital live in the summer of 1997 at Lollapalooza (with Tricky, Snoop Dogg, Tool, Inch, and too many others to name). They went on as the sun was just about completely down. I had a number of their CD's by that point, but it was the first time I heard Satan and the first time I heard the mashup in Halcyon and On and On. Looking forward to seeing Orbital again next week in NYC! Cheers! 🙂🤘

I have grown up listening to these guys since a was a literal baby, 23 years later and im still a fan. Ill never forget these guys. Also thank you guys for finally re-releasing the Green album, i appreciate that so much. But can y'all do the Brown album next please?

You two have a truely special artistic creativity, always exploring but also have a signature sound(an umami sound) that i can recognize. You excel not just on the ideas but on the execution too. Your works are like musical paintings. I bought the CD album of Snivilisation (i had on casette) recently. And i noticed how it's kind of "audiophile" although it's a fully electronic but not an acoustic recording. I think i was 12 or so when i first listened to that album and it's been a rediscovery.

In Sides, Brown Album, The Middle of Nowhere and Snivilisation are still my favorite albums and I return to them often. There's not album that Orbital has put out that I didn't like. I'm looking forward to the next album.

In Sides is a masterpiece imo, especially the US release with the 28min compilation of Box mixes. Dŵr Budr goes to a special place when in breaks right down in the middle and goes into it's second phase.
