Follow along as I prepare for the senior us open. Over the next few weeks, I will be getting back into my rhythm and taking you along with me. We will be going over how I prepare and the progression leading up to the US open. Cheers!

Enjoy your videos. Really like your shorter swing and consistent tempo. Good luck at the qualifier!

I'm finding all these comments and experiences of you using trust, feelings, and synchronisation of club and body rotation, inspirational. A month ago I hit a bad patch after being away from the course for a few weeks - and I tried (as is my habit) to get back to striking the ball, by going back over all my notes from the past. This involved measuring where the butt pointed at the top, how the shaft was coming through horizontal, where my right shoulder was at impact, the path of my right el;bow, where the clubhead went after impact - and on and on like that. My results descended, not improved. Well, that was until you started to post these videos and I turned a huge corner. Picking off the top things you were feeling and sensing whilst doing practice strokes - to 2/3rds distance and 2/3rds speed - I concentrated on feels. On senses. The easy rhythm of a swinging club at 1/2 - 2/3rds. And I've started to play better. 9th yesterday from 39 in the Seniors Stableford -- so your work on these videos is improving my results Eric. I can easily apply the content in a way that my notes on technicalities, measurement, and geometry couldn't. It's massively got me rethinking how I practice and play. Thank you so much for posting these thoughts Eric, we really appreciate the work.

Good stuff Chris!! After any kind of break I like play more than practice...keeps me away from technical 😎

comfort don’t pay the bills the most important thing that there is to TRUST is that your grip is a match for you so that you can swing and release freely. if it ain’t; you’ll be comfortably numb
