I actually loved the dissonance that first bass note produced. The whole beat had a bit of that spooky Kid A unsettlingly-cheerful demonic vibe to it. Suddenly descending into a dissonant bass line and slowly distorting the whole thing halfway through, with bass slides down to the lower octave followed by cuts, would've been a cool twist.

Dude what bizarre timing. My audio interface bugs out once in a blue moon on youtube... instead of Nate Ross I got "Demon Ross" HEEEEELOOOOO EVVVRYYY BODDDDDY" like .25 speed but lower pitch. I never jerked a USB cable faster lol lol "There is zero friday's involved" laughed way harder than reasonable at that.
