The transition of how cost of living is getting more expensive into out growing your mate is wild. Man or women you see that life is getting more expensive and we constantly tightening our budget to just sit there and never try to level up so we don’t drown in debt is wild. Like the goal should always be growing. Even if you don’t go back to school get some investments property or something Black people male or female need to play catch up cause we way behind in generation wealth. For a male or female to lose ambition in a marriage will make anyone look at you different

I witnessed how women chase NFL players firsthand. I was dating a guy on a pro team and the women that would hang out at the hotels, after practices, etc., was phenomenal! How were these women raised? I worked a full time job when I met him and kept it. Money wasn’t our deal and even after we stop dating, we our still friends to this day.

Yall missed the point. Also, why was the conversation towards BLACK women who had to work hard to get out of the poverty we grew up in. Again this was a conversation for rich women. We are not that desperate to accept ANY man as long as he loves me. Lol yall literally speaking against everything yall talk about. Talking bout women who have bums on their couch, sleeping with a man who can't provide anything, etc. Again Tyler said a man that can ONLY pay the light bill. Not surprising that only men change what he actually said. A lot of us are bm of men that didn't have any money and yall told us do not date his potential. Moving the goal post lol but okay. Date the woman who can only have sex once a month and come back. She LOVES you!!! Other races don't have this conversation but it breaks my heart that black men and women cannot get along. America has really did a number on us. Love the pod and been consistently watching for months but for the first time i disagree.

You only grow apart in marriage when you stop putting in the work. Take money out the equation and remove the notion of making the other happy and being in love; where are you growing? if your still operation in the old train of thought, you refuse to self reflect, you fail to grow in whatever beliefs you hold...you have become stagnant. Some folks really be afraid of change and in that case marriage isn't finna work because change is inevitable. So if one person wants to stay stuck in their ways and trauma and whatever else at some point that becomes beyond draining and it begins to hold the other back no matter how much they want it to work. You simply cant work at marriage alone.

39:46 i do believe u can out grow your partner when it comes to maturing. Some people get serious about life in general and their partner can be still acting immature or doing childish things that u just can't tolerate anymore. But As far as outgrowing someone financially? I think men are more likely to be ok with outgrowing his girl because he's biologically hardwired to provide. But women are NOT built to provide so when SHE elevates & makes more money than her man, she gets uncomfortable with stepping into HIS natural role, and we all know that women are hypergamous by nature so she'll began to resent being with a man that can no longer cover her expenses because now that she's making more money, she wants a higher quality of life that HE can't necessarily afford

I said the saaaaamme thing!!! It's like couples that's married for a long time AND it's peaceful (overall) seems like they are embarrassed to tell the challenges.... when that's that ish we NEED to know!! We make plans in case of an emergencies for everything else but only prenups for when a marriage is done. And don't get me started on how therapy's the new church and how the ppl i know that's going is paying to tell lies bc it's the latest trend. Do you know how admirable it'll be if a couple realistically had plans for all situations before emotions get involved? Like: If either of us blow funds, cheats, ...etc, we have to do XYZ for theses amount of months before anyone can give up.

Salute to ya'll!! On the Jeezy situation I did a little digging on their relationship just because I was curious couldn't remember how long they we actually together in total. They were together I think 3 years before getting married and lived together. So I dont know how he didnt find issues with her that he now found. I thought maybe the issue was she wasnt a good mother or that she put her career before being a wife & mother, but anger issues that's interesting. I know she was married before him for several years so again its interesting to me and one of the issues cited in her previous divorce was not wanting to have kids with her husband. A racial issue maybe but if it was that big of an issue why would he marry her after all that time then proceed to have a child with her.

Love this. As far as outgrowing in a marriage. I love this conversation. It is in the vows. Its supposed to be❤🎉❤🎉 understood. You are in it for better or worse. I believe that topic should be covered before you say ' i do' ask questions. What ifs should be talked about to see where the potential lifemates head is before you vow forever to one another. I know right now i want a life mate that wants to grow and elevate not sit in a cobwebbed rocking chair and watch me chase my dreams, achieve them and elevate. You have to be on the same page from ' go' and vice versa. Im not sitting eating bon bons all day while you out conquering the wolves of the world. Thanks. Love this immensely!!❤🎉

I disagree - on both sides some leave the other person. It goes back to an individuals initial intent. Are both parties willing to work on the relationship..some people believe and will tell you I’m going to mess up again and again…do you accept the behavior? Some are not willing to adjust their behavior. It has a lot to do with behavior.

It’s typical for a Woman to feel as though she has outgrown her mate and marriage. Men need to have an understanding of how a woman’s mindset is and how this works. If you can’t help ground the energy with her and in the marriage… it’s doomed if you have an ambitious woman.

That man cheated after 8 years. I don't think she should take him back. He cheated on her during their engagement at 29 years old and during the third pregnancy. 13 years and he's not in love with her. Yea he might regret his actions, but he will probably likely do it again. He may even do her worse. He could change, but that's a gamble she's taking. She probably is only taking him back because they have 3 kids together and she's been out here for 3 years and hasn't found anyone else to replace him. But I think she's giving up too early 🤣 even though she has 3 kids COVID really doesn't count. So it was more like 1 year she really even got to date.

Why ppl Always bring up what Jeanie said without context. She was with and married a wm At That Time. You gotta factor that in it. Cause you never know if she said that just to respect her marriage...since she used to always say she is very attracted to bm all the time. So it is what it is. Edit: But tbh, I don't know for sure if it's just fetish with black men. It would seem so...but I can't say for sure. Cause I know the context of it when she said that. She been married to a wm...and Always kept saying how much she likes and sooo attracted to bm All The Damn Time. So idk if that was her way of cleaning it up or not. 🤔

Men don’t sacrifice their jobs because WOMEN are intimidated, but men are. The operative word is, “INTIMIDATED”. Men do not HAVE to adapt. Find the RIGHT woman that you are equally yoked. The women you are and have been around all of YOUR lives, speak like that. I know, because I’m the very woman men have been intimidated by because I had a job and supported myself and I worked for the county! Those men weren’t for me. Women you feel you need to adapt to her needs, is not the woman for you. That simple.
