Great conversation, gentlemen! Y'all hit the nail on the head! 👏🏿 I lot of us don't listen and love to talk! 😅. Thank you for telling the truth of how and why men feel the way they feel. 😊

Im happy that men are finally being able to express themselves. I'm old school so this advice is brilliant especially being with my hubby for 11 years. We have been through a lot. One for sure was the way I disregarded his emotions and feelings because he made it all about me in the beginning then when we were married life unfolded differently. To know i needed to put a piece of duck tape on that mouth I noticed my marriage changed. I appreciate this advice in this time because as a woman we always hear what men need to fix. Now it is us ladies we gotta appreciate our men. The black man especially he is the strongest man on earth 🥰 my 2 cents only.

The advice segment of this episode was 🔥🔥 especially the part about being in your 20s & y’all said to take all the risks you can possibly take, keep the fight in you & be ferocious! Whew, yall was preaching. I just turned 24 a few days ago & I agree with all of these sentiments, I’m taking notes.

What type of mothers yall had. Jesus, my 2 sons knew if I have to come to the school, they are always wrong till they were proven right, which was maybe 3 times. Lol. Every parent think they kn9w their kids. Hide around the corner after school and watch, that's your child.

I had a man tell him that he knows his job he just needs a woman that will make him feel safe when he’s vulnerable and who can submit to his leadership nd thats real shit i had to learn to listen to men nd let them get certain shit off they chest rather i agreed or but i really had to let my ego go nd listen because when they open up it can be one of the most deepest conversations you have with a mf 💯

I believe some women think their man have ill intent either from what they’ve seen/heard other women deal with from men, past trauma, social media, or insecurity in the relationship. Maybe a little selfishness too. It RATIONALLY & LOGICALLY don’t make sense to cut the man off while he speaking or you’re never going to get through the problem. It’s like that saying we been hearing since a kid…treat others how you want to be treated. It’s just that simple.

I found the men loving themselves conversation very interesting. The reason why there are so many women on this “self-love” Journey is the direct pushback of women always having to take care of everything else. Women being in marriages they didn’t want to be in because they didn’t have the money or the ability to leave. Women staying for the kids. Women staying out of duty. We have gone to the opposite end of the spectrum where we are super self love super I’m doing it for me instead of finding middle ground.

If they asked their spouse to come on the show, would that not be them trying to make their spouses everything and more?

It's the woman's fault for being everything to a man and not requiring him to be everything for her. If my man isn't pleasing me, then I'm cutting him off. I'm not going to be one of those foolish women who end up being everything for her man for years with nothing in return. Ya'll need to stop needing men to validate you.

?? Asked on IG and asking here too --- How do you fix the interruption when it's the opposite way. He says everything he wants/needs to say without interruption but as soon as I crack my mouth & start speaking he interrupts me & doesn't let me talk or care how I feel or what I had to say. I'm to the point that I've started not to say anything.. ** How do we fix this when it's opposite the woman respect's and listens and the man always interrupts?? Please I need an answer

@43:10 Smuv was speaking Facts. The warning signs are there when a man is about to leave. Unfortunately, the clues are just never noticed. Smuv just gave you an excellent one for free. @1:05:39 That is the mentality you must have when you have exhausted all other options.

Do your best to be in your kids life regardless. It’s very important for Daughters to have their Father active as well. 🤦🏾♀️ It can very detrimental to any gender not having either parent present to teach lessons especially during those early stages.

And never gonna defend women but, men give their daughters a false sense of reality. My father did. He didn't raise me to be wife, he told me all the things a man should and shouldn't do. But then he would be extra hard on my brothers.. When I say we wanna laugh at the way other cultures raise their kids, I say we should try it.
