ITZY is doing just fine :) Their sales ("Checkmate" and now "Cheshire") in addition to charting "globally" is a testament to their strategic objective and that's to expand their fanbase all over the world. Just look at their brand partnerships??? On top of that, ITZY are passed the show wins to be honest. They did their thing and won a ton when they debuted but they are maturing and haven't hit their peak yet. Nothing against Melon and the charts known to Korean fans but it's Billboard, Spotify and iTunes that are globally used by KPop fans in other countries so just ignore toxic talk about "ITZY is falling" because they are absolutely *not*. "Cheshire" will be another million dollar seller (album) after "Checkmate". This song is definitely a banger/BOP but my love goes out to "Snowy" FTW! If "Snowy" was released in a future comeback, it would have done just as well as "Cheshire" or even better to be honest. Great reaction to "Cheshire" my bruddah! Keep up the great work!

HOW DID THEY SKIP OVER LIA'S ICONIC " YEAH I FEEL SO FREE" LINE @10:38?!?!!!! Her voice sounds so sensual. I love it. the thing about the green screen part is that for the snow set, it wasn't just a greenscreen, it was an LED wall that switches from the snowy background to the greenscreen background, so even in production design, they're doing a gotcha moment where you would expect the greenscreen to impose the snowy background but it was physically displayed behind them

Yep, the one that got me was the simple point choreos Edit: also you said something on rewatch how good the music video + song actually is artistically made me realize something, taste can be trained. Sure you can like something just because you like it, thats called a preference, and you dont need to defend that, but there is just something satisfying on liking something that you can actually appreciate or dissect it yourself. Something worth pointing out that I found really cool from the behind the scenes content was that the dropped piano was a practical effect. Totally would've figured that would've been CG, and I don't think anyone would've blamed JYP for going that route either.

I loved this comeback so so much. I was a bit afraid, bc their latest releases were not my favorite. But this song…I loved it from the first listening, also the choreo and their outfits were 10/10. This is definitely one of my favorite song from ITZY by far. Usually their songs are a bit too funky (in a weird way) for me. But I really like this song. It's catchy and I can vibe with it.

Ever since Loco Itzy have had growers for me. It takes quite some time for me to love them but as soon as I do I’m OBSESSED until the end of time. Like I never thought Loco would be one of my most streamed songs when it first came out. Cheshire is the same. I didn’t love it right away but couldn’t stop coming back to it.

I really liked how the concept fit into the music video, the concept is about the Cheshire cat from Alice in wonderland and he basically preaches the "why so serious" and likes to play tricks to confuse you while saying trust your gut. The whole music video isn't what it seems, everything seems kinda random but thats the point don't be too serious in trying to make it make sense just enjoy it. The set disappearing, Yeji appearing out of nowhere, the transitions in the chorus like how the cat disappears and appears. I loved it.

One of the best song this year

This song solidified my bias in Yeji for sure... but you can see and hear the improvements made vocally, especially live. There's some forcing with pitch, but it sounds worse than people are making it out to be. They are dancing and singing head notes... that combo can be hard to master with a fast paced song and dance. A little more breath control training and they have it. Each member was able to highlight their vocal capabilities in this song and I LOVE IT.
