Yuna absolutely elevated this song to its full potential and I'm so glad the producers/choreographers utilized her perfectly

We, Korean call blonde hair as "노랑머리" that literally means "Yellow Hair". Sometimes we call it as "금발" that means "Golden Hair"

I know people are disliking the song but I for one LOVE it. It's a fun bop and gets you up and moving. Moreover, I think it really showed off Yuna's ability as a center and DIG it. ALSO I think the choreo is fast paced and shows how they excel as a group for dancing. Their singing is unique (lots of deep voices), offset by Lia's superior vocals and even Yuna's higher sound. Def digging them. Cherry is a great bside and although Itz Summer was 50/50 for me as a bside, their choreo video for it is great and it made me really appreciate the song :)

I don't know if someone mentioned it, but some of the producers of ICY also worked on Red Velvet's Zimzalabim and Red Flavor

my fave part is Yuna's verse cuz they have a neck snapping move (which is arguably the most iconic dance move out there) sadly its not present in the MV but u can see it in the second teaser or in the dance practice video (or in live stages) , but aside from the iconic dance i love the whole song its a strong contender for song of the year

Yooooo!! I’m on team Icy all the way, I actually hateddd dalla dalla when I first heard it, tho it grew on me, but Icy was an instant love. And Ashley did my favorite part!! The chorus is so cool with it’s weird industrial type sounds, when I first heard it I thought, oh okay this is Itzy’s sound, like I got what they’re going for

All Itzy's songs have grown on me over time. They always sound confusing after the first listen, then after a few plays, you wonder why you didn't get it in the first place. ICY is just like DALLA DALLA in that you are confused at first, then bang, it's a bop out of nowhere. I'm glad Ashley was able to join you; you guys have great chemistry! Make her a co-host already.

Dalla Dalla needed a few listens before I fully got into the groove of it. But Icy instantly had me HOOKED. I wish they kept more of the bass slaps that's heard on the outro of the song. Icy has been playing in my head for DAYS since I heard it. And it's not only the song; the mv also had me going back to it a couple times. ITZY has proved to be such a powerful rookie and I'm excited to see what they have next.

What few b-sides they have so far have been surprisingly good, esp. Cherry and Want It? I'd recommend giving Cherry a go considering both Ryujin and Yuna are able to use their deeper, more natural voices in it (and the bass...)

I so agree with the everything PD says about this song! I never disliked Dalla Dalla, but it never really pulled me in. I also really don’t like Want It, but I love all b-sides on It’z Icy, so this was and instant love for me.. I think this song did a better job at conveying their strengths, which is definitely dance and performance more than vocals (even though their vocals are still great) ☺️

I really like Icy. It kinda turned me from someone diggin' this new group to someone eagerly waiting to see more of their stuff. Love you two reacting and analysing together. It's not often you see a song writer getting involved with this side of K Pop. Thank You Ashley for your input and explaining to us consumers how a K Pop song is written. It had always baffled me that the list of writers was so long, but I see now why. As to Itzy and ICY; what an energetic and boppy song! Love the vibes and the girls in the group have so much attitiude its instantly attractive. Their choreography and dancing is spot-on and I love the way everyone in the backgrounds are staring at them. I can imagine the club dancefloors suddenly erupting in pogoing and people bouncing all over the place when this comes on. Good luck to ITZY.

I love this. You did a fantastic job on the track (and I'm listening to the instrumental too) I think the comeback of dance breaks has been too strong. EXID for example, almost had something great with "me and you" but their dance break threw the track far away from what it should have been. It was almost a power ballad and then they put in dirty bass and it fell apart.

locations are; Bradbery building (Ryujin at the beginning) which is the oldest building in L.A. and was in Blade Runner (where Harrison Ford lived). Then Grand Central Market which you know, however they also filmed in front of the Eastern Building and the United Aritsts theater which is now part of the Ace Hotel; a parking garage across the street from the Biltmore Hotel near Pershing Sq. (common location in thousands of films); Rae's in Santa Monica @ 29th Street/Pico with the dance break (interior is actual Rae's)
